I think that's a little bit naive/misunderstands the point.
We all expected/knew this game was gonna sell out. As will basically all our Home matches for the rest of this season. So no-one is surprised at that.
What people seem to be surprised/curious about is what the point of the memberships are/how the donut works.
Hotspur+ member tickets went on sale Monday but apparently only 1000 were available. They went on sale to all Hotspur members today (apparently around 6000 available) but no longer any priority to Hotspur+ members... so what really is the point of Hotspur+? Paying extra to get a very slight chance of getting tickets earlier? That seems a little poor from the club (and it probably was always a similar case but we're aware of it now).
Then it's the idea of the donut and the queue and if we're taking posters on this site at their word then there seems to be very little rhyme of reason for where you end up in the queue depending on when you log in to it and that the donut itself is unclear/doesn't let you know where you are in the queue.
And I've seen a couple of people mention that if you want a ticket you should 'Just get a season ticket' and I have to say that that is an insanely privileged viewpoint. Not everyone can do that. Both via season ticket waiting lists and money.
TLDR: We expected it to sell out quickly, duh. We just had forgotten/aren't impressed with the clubs ticketing system.
What is the link to the exchange website?
I've Just checked the official website and our allocation for the City League game is 3010 and 2700 for the CL 2nd leg. I presume this is down to a reduced EUFA capacity and that there is no increase allocation.I was wondering if there are likely to be even less tickets available to members for the Man City CL match.
Is there a capacity reducton imposed by UEFA( usually for advertising around the perimeters) and will the away club get a larger allocation? On the other hand, I presume season ticket holders may not all go as it will not be one of their 'paid for' matches but I presume most would apply for a ticket for someone or to sell on the exchange?
I have Hotspur bronze I think I am on the waiting list as well.the Hotspur+ only cost £5 more roughly 26p per game. the real benefit of the Hotspur+ is being on the waiting list
One hotspur + is what the Bronze one I now called.I have Hotspur bronze I think I am on the waiting list as well.
Thank you I could not remember I thought perhaps they had sneaked another membership in on the quiet. One hotspur + is what the Bronze one I now called.
One hotspur+ > Bronze
One hotspur > Lillywhite
Got my ticket for Palace...arranged for my flight and hotel. Very excited. Anyone remember where you can check out the view from your seat? In section 423.
How the hell did you manage to get through on the phone, I must have tried 50 times over the 2 days and never even got in the queue!

Enjoy mate I'm hoping to get to the next home game on the weekend.I'm a disabled member so have to book via a different section
as above I'm in a different category, not sure how many tickets our group get each match, and if included in the total that go out. I'm 148th on the waiting list, but only for that section. Ive managed to get tickets for the Legends and Palace (bank manager won't be happy), the only thing is we get 2 tickets per match, 1 for someone to assist (they officially are not allowed to get too involved in the game, they are there for me)

Nope...assume the Heathrow Express is still on line.have you booked your taxi from the airport
That's the game I'm targeting and then west hamI gotta try for that Huddersfield game, daughter was hoping to go to the legends but double booked, due to work she can't do midweek, and is due to have an operation a few days after Huddersfield and that will mean due to rest/recovery, the only other game will be Everton
