We can't keep making excuses about injuries that fucks me off because every club incurs them, the crime was to travel through transfer windows not buying anyone that is and was a ridiculous plan of action from whoever made that call.

Clubs fight tooth and nail to overturn or reduce transfer bans. We willingly imposed a year long ban on ourselves and somebody or other needs to take some responsibility for that.

I'm no maths teacher but 12 defeats equates to 36 points which we have lost of our points tally yes, so does that no count then in your opinion as I beg to differ because that is way too many for a club who many fan's think were in a title race at one point which was nonsense.

Chelsea have 8 losses, that equates to them losing 24 points but they're still behind us...you know why?...Because we have more points than them, that's generally how things work mate.

Do you know how many losses we had in 2015/16 when we finished 3rd...6 -, Do You know how many points we ended up with? 69,1 less that what we have now.

Points is the indicator of your positions in the league not losses.

Fuck me. This thread is still at the top of the page?
We played badly and lost. It happens. However the sun will still come up in the morning and I'll still go to work on Monday and get covered in shit.
On a more positive note I'm in the pub and it's crumpet city. However I'm 51, overweight and seen better days. And Mrs D is sitting with me.

I meant in midfield as I think we need more than what we had today. I thought Foyth was ok and did try to get forward, far better attacking than defending certainly. The thing is we are so so slow when we pass... polar opposite to Liverscum who just go for the throat.

Today we had several opportunities to go for it but each time we were lackadaisical. Dele need to up his speed of passing also, he is definitely not looking right.
I must have been at a different game to you.
Foyth had good moments but generally his lack of knowedge of playing RB told.
Never gave width, never pushed on when he should and never overlapped.
BUT i do not blame him. KWP should have been out there but bad decisions were made in team set up by Poch - which he compounded with his substitutions.
We were very poor today but having players not in correct positions does not help - and despite all his endeavour Rose should not be in midfield either.

Wow.

I'll tell you all what, there's been some bloody horrible stuff spoken in this thread today. Some proper personal stuff.

I get the frustration at the result (and apparent performance) but does everyone really have to turn on eachother?

Honestly, this thread is EXACTLY what people post in the "Let's all laugh at" threads, and then proceed to mock, laugh at & label as pathetic, a demonstration of how fucking pathetic they are as a fanbase.

Don't be them, be better.

Nobody would take responsibility and take a shot - so much tippy tappy in crowded areas. Our slow build up from the back allowed them to get organised every time.

This is why I feel physically sick....taken from their website this afternoon :

Noble relished the fact that, no matter what happens in the future, West Ham will now always be the first side to beat Tottenham in their new home.He added: “The way we played was fantastic. For the club and especially for the fans, that win is bragging rights. The first team to win here in history. We’ve always got that in our back pocket now for the rest of time.“

That is exactly how long it's going to hurt......"for the rest of time"......fucking anybody except them..........:(

Oh get a grip for God's sake man

We've got a CL semi to look forward to.

I didn't know people actually cared about West Ham this much

I agree & didn't make at excuses.

I answered a question, explained that answer, and then pointed out that it was a mistake to not replace Dembele, but nobody, and I repeat NOBODY apart from Levy and Poch know why he wasn't replaced when he left.

I really don't see how you interpreted my post as making excuses for anything, but apologise if it wasn't clear. (y)

The next 5 weeks could be the best of my Spurs supporting life! Best case scenario we could finish 3rd and win the champions League and all our best players sign new contracts. Worst case we could finish outside the top 4 and bomb out to Ajax and Toby and Christian could leave at the end of the season. The fact that these are both a possibility is why I love Spurs. We used to have a faint hope of maybe getting into the Europa League with two games left not so long ago. Times are good now, honest. I’m loving it!

Sorry mate...I just hate the bastards and them taking anything from our new home just seemed to grate.
I'll get over it....eventually.

I've had some time to reflect on today's result and a few drinks.

We're in a Champions League semi final.

Holy shit.

Poch really fucked up team selection. I dont understand what he was trying to do.

Firstly, playing Foyth out of position at RB, when we have 2 proper RB on the bench.

Then playing Rose and Davies in the same team, when we have an important champions league game on Tuesday.

We are going to go into that game with a tired LB. They could of easily rested one of them in preparation for champions league, played Walker-Peters and have a more balanced side against West Ham.

Another thing I have written about in recent years and is not in our DNA is the habit of not playing the ball to a player in a better scoring position. We don't sacrifice individual glory for that of the team.

Man City have scored the most open goals in England, Barca in Europe. It is part of their club style. Pep has not yet ingrained it in our players. Dele and Eriksen had the chances today. Others have been guilty throughout the season. Wish we could add this as part of our final third play.

Agree, drives me mad. So many times we could square it for a simple tap in, but there's just a fundamental lack of composure.

The amount of people in this whole forum who have claimed West Ham care about us too much, are obsessed with us have within basically the same breathe talked about how angry they are losing to West Ham is hilarious to me. Yeah we lost, it sucks but people are making such a big deal out of them being the first team to beat us. I'm surrounded by West Ham fans and if they bring it up to me I'm just going to say, "yeah you did" or "okay". I'm so excited for Tuesday, I'm sorry to those who want a noose party but this one result is having little bearing on my mood with that to look forward to.
