i think this is one of the problems with the coefficient system. Spanish teams get buffed by a strong group playing year after year.
In england we have 6 teams desperate for champions league, and other occasional look ins. Wigan Athletic is one of the best 80 teams in europe...
I think its about time the system was changed especially as europa league teams rack up similar amounts of coefficient that champions league teams do. ie arsenal on for 26 this year , we're on 25.

The best thing about the Europa League is that the final is before the champions League final so even if those ****s win it, they still can't celebrate properly without having that doubt of us winning the champions League in the back of their minds.

The La Liga has been very poor in Euro comps this season.

Arsenal can’t even beat lower half teams in the PL but they can come to Spain and beat / lead a top six La Liga team.
