Yes so Spursy only getting to the CL final with zero spend ....

With success comes a new breed of fan.......unfortunately.
getting to a CL was such a one off we really should of performed, as for getting there its papered over some massive cracks over the last few years. Who knows what may of happened if we didnt zero spend?

Expectations have raised but so they should of.

Same happened with Liverpool the other night, as the game went on they couldn't press like they normally do and looked knackered.
Only its not at all hot in Naples so heat and humidity is no excuse. Athens was hot, but again, not even that much.

It can also be said that with success, comes more expectation.
Many of us old, worn fans are entitled to expect better than we're currently being served. Especially because we know they team are capable of it.
It's a very frustrating start to the season.

No point of being good and going backwards at an alarming rate. We were so close from winning something but getting further away now.

Game management let us down, again.

So many times the players think we have the game won and then mess it up, it really is frustraiting.

Stadium is great but it will soon wear off if we keep going backwards, prices are ridiculous too.
This team is coming to its end, and its failed in every game a trophy is on the line.

Yeah, as nice as it would be, I'm not one of the "we need to win trophies" brigade.
I'm happy with decent progression, as we've seen over the past 10 years and I believe that will bring trophies at some stage.
I'm just concerned that we're now seeming to stagnate, when we should be taking that next brave step.
I'm also increasingly worried that Poch may be part of the problem, no longer the cure and that really scares me. I don't want this era to end, let alone gradually peter out the way that it's looking to.

Against a team who have only conceded one goal in 15 home games. Regardless of how it happened. Could this be a valuable point? Are we making too much of the performance. My gripe would be that we left a recognised full back on the bench and had another full back playing his first game of the season. And it showed. Both goals and all the other good work came down the flanks for Olympiakos.

Edit. Ok. One was a penalty.
