No ticket is the way forward!! Having watched the game in a bar in the Dam mostly populated by Ajax and having drunk most of the day by half time I was depressed, fucked off and had half a headache mainly from a fellow Spurs who was slagging off Levy. So I left, went back to my hotel which was 1 minute walk from the bar, took an ibuprofen and followed it on BBC text. Lucas scores, ok calm down its just one. Lucas scores again, right get my act together and go back to the bar and witness the greatest come back since Jesus... What a mental fucking day....

So Madrid is booked, im there from the Friday, bullet train from Valencia....COYS!!!!

Wow pretty fucking similar. We went to a crowded bar with mainly Spurs fans and some Ajax in a sort of separate room. When Ajax went 2-0 up it all kicked off, idiot Spurs fans throwing chairs around the bar.

We left went to a nondescript bar/cafe with only an american and Brazilian couple there. The last few minutes I could only watch on my own I was in bits. At the final whistle I was in complete shock but celebrating with and thanking the Brazilian couple for Lucas interspersed with walking out onto the street celebrating with yids was amazing.

I’m also going via Valencia. I went that way for the group game against Madrid last year and it’s a really easy way to go and Valencia is a lovely place. I lived there for a year and have friends there so will be good to catch up! Now just need ticket and a win.

Edit just seen your name so you may know a bit about Valencia.

@ValenciaYid and/or @Coyboy, how easy is it to get from the airport to the train station? I am booked on a specific train but not done the journey before. I looked on google and saw it’s a 17min drive.

From valencia airport to train station? @ValenciaYid can confirm or you can look it up but it’s 15 mins or so on tube I think. Since I lived there they’ve extended the metro to manises airport and it’s excellent.

Shit.
Just received email from Spurs selling CL Final shirts, mugs, scarves etc.
I've no chance of going to match or even nwhl but I want 1 of everything and thats before having to buy a shirt with cl final splashed across the front as well!
May need to remortgage the house.
The price of success lol.

From VLC airport to Joaquim Soroya or Nord is a piece of piss, certainly on the metro. There are a couple of metro connections close by that are maybe 10 minute walk at the most...probably 20 mins on the metro, you may have to change and yes a car/taxi is about the same...which VLC station you taking the train from??

I’m going to VLC on the Sunday night around 10pm as fly back to London on Monday at 12. Planning on staying at an airport hotel unless city centre is not so far from airport?

How quick are Thomas cook sport likely to be in confirming whether there’s a spot for us on a plane once we’ve got our tickets, and how many planes do they generally charter for these things?

Looks like we’re driving.
Have you got any spare seats?

Also can you let me know what sort of car it is, knowing you it’s likely to be Nissan micra with wide wheels and some fancy striping?

I’m flying to Barca via Amsterdam from Leeds. Just booked a night stay in Barca on the Friday night n car hire to drive there sat morn driving back Sunday morn for my flight to Leeds via Ibiza. I think total cost about £550 . No plans in Madrid -sleep in car if we lose -no sleep if we win is the plan,

Having been on a couple of Thomas Cook CL packages, I've got a lot of faith in their service. has been spot on so far to be honest. As I've provisionally booked them again this time then let's hope I'm saying that again in 3 weeks time!

BTW hotels in Zaragoza are still cheap and from Madrid the last bus is at 1:30am so something to look into.
