With real betis playing silly buggers over GLC, this now totally makes sense why it was leaked to AG and DK about us going for Dybala.

Would really have thought out consistent CL participation and even last season finalist appearance could have been a draw for players. Marquee players especially.

Cant help but think this is a club driven smokescreen to occupy the masses should we not secure our targets and deflect criticism. Cant see it working either way :D

Dybala always seemed a long shot so I'm not sure why people got so quickly and so emotionally attached to the idea of it.

I'd just wait as calciomercato are tier 4 for reliability. Let's see if anyone more reliable runs with it.

So that's the Dybala 'saga' over then. According to plan, we'll have a nice little interview by Levy in December or so when he's bigged up again for some obscure commercial partnership letting us know he tried really hard but in the end couldn't compete with Man Uniteds big money offer.

One BIG problem is that Wanyama (crocked), Aurier (Recent surgery), Rose (Ageing), and Eriksen (No bites) are taking up places in the squad where we might otherwise be able to bring people in.

Wanyama and Aurier in particular take squad numbers to 27 including Sess, Lo Celso, Parrot and Tanganga.

I know the chance was low, but this hurts.
It sucks that he's going to Man U, like we are arguably better than them recent years and have that argie thing.
I guess Poch was never really interested :cry:
