I'm sorry but I disagree, we have a few capable batsmen who are easily equal to the Australians on their day. We can all point to an instance where a team showed grit, graft, quality, or whatever else but we took (roughly) 8 for 40 yesterday, where was the Australian grit and graft there? We're poor, I'm not denying it, but we've still got quality players who just aren't performing as well as they can and the few that aren't good enough are really showing it.
I've been hyper critical over the past few months and had I my way I'd make a lot of changes but I maintain we're not that far of the Aussies even though right now it looks awful

Ok, perhaps it's wrong to make such a generalisation based on 1 innings, but an innings like this has been coming for quite a while. Whether that's a mentality thing, or an attacking intent thing, or a culture thing, I don't know...but there have been enough warnings about an innings like this for all too long, and not a lot has been done to rectify it.
