[in reference to the comment "why don't you support them?"]
I think that's a good question. What is 'Tottenham' about Tottenham? The manager and coaching staff? The players?
Our manager needs a translator. Only about half of the first team has English as a first language. Apart from the obvious difficulty in getting along to games, why not just support Sevilla?
how impolite is it to tell me to fuck off from my previous comment all i said is that you should bugger off to spain, i even tried to start a collection for a shirt for you, but apparently no one apart from me was willing to contribute
At Everton, I can't ever remember Moyes playing Arteta as one of two CMs. When Cahill plays the box-to-box role, you usually get several identical baldies playing CM,
Oh fuck off.
Unneccesary.
you sir are a tool and yet you wonder why people think you are a nob when you respond to comments with unpleasant remarksOh fuck off.
He repeats his initial goad. I repeat my initial response.
If he walked up to a Spurs fan on game day and told him to go and support another team he would beg for simple words, trust me.
I agree with that. Assuming for a moment that we are after Arteta, unless Ramos is going to change his entire system, I can only imagine he'd use him as the attacking/tempo dictating CM. Arteta is far too slow to be a classic Ramos wide player.
At Everton, I can't ever remember Moyes playing Arteta as one of two CMs. When Cahill plays the box-to-box role, you usually get several identical baldies playing CM, with Arteta out wide. So, playing Arteta as one of two CMs would be a new role for him in the EPL. However, to repeat my comments from other threads, I can see Ramos wanting to pair Poulsen with Arteta in CM.
I don't know about Arteta. I just think he a star of Moyes system, rather than him being a superb player.
Moyes needs to take some plaudits for polishing some average players into decent players and decent players (like Arteta) into good players.
wouldnt want an influx of Sevilla players, yes one or two, but only ones that would improve the squad (and not all of the would)
With having alot of Brits and Irish playersin the squad over the last few years has been good, i wouldnt want to change that with alot of others coming in.... we just need the ones in CM
It pretty much would be Spurs overseas players leaving IMO to accommodate the new ones should they come.
Malbs, TT, Rocha, Berbs (unfortunately), Zok etc will probably be closer to the exit door than our Irish+Brits.
All speculation though.
He totally outclassed the Valencia midfield last week and they have some fantastic midfielders and this week he was in total control against Real Madrid and scored an absolute belter.
This is the goal he scored on Sunday:

fair enough if we are just improving the overseas players with other ones, just think we need to hold onto a UK feel to the team, something that has been good for the club for the last 2 or so seasons
Yep a British spine is essential in this league.
What I am afraid of: I HATED the way Sevilla played the ref every time we met them.
I just hope our players don't start getting that mentality
Kanoute, Palop, Alvez, Kerzhakov and Poulsen have all been heavily linked to Spurs recently.
