We seem so much stouter at the back with Toby than Dier. He even makes Sanchez better.
I thought after the first 2 matches post lockdown, people(in this forum) said it was dier who made sanchez better?

Only if they're an upgrade on what we have. Its a big ask but we need a new RB, LB, DM and striker to take the strain off of Kane. The balance at the moment in the team is shocking, these signings would rectify that.
Unpopular opinion: Sandro was a great footballer, but not a particularly good DM.I'd love to see that. A creative midfielder(Modric), a tank of a dm (Sandro), 2 fast as fk wingers and full backs and go rip teams a new arsehole.
Make them scared to come out of their own half like Redknapp days. Ah they were good times.
I hope today Kane and others think hey maybe there is something promising going forward at Spurs. Just a glimmer of hope.
Christ been so low lately.
Its not the result as I said.
I would rather have played like that today and got a draw than play like we have been and grab a 1.0 win in 90th min against run of play. We deserved that today.
Yeh the actual truth is that it's our defensive organisation that's made all our defenders better.I thought after the first 2 matches post lockdown, people said it was dier who made sanchez better?
Notice the fucking around at the back jas disappeared? Lloris cleared his lines everytime today. He's booting it up the pitch almost every time.Yeh the actual truth is that it's our defensive organisation that's made all our defenders better.
Trust me it was a far far better performance. I watched it all and never fell asleep so that alone tells a story. And we deserved the win. We were the better team. We didnt nick it or get lucky.I only listened to it on the radio, but two BBC commentators didn't make me think we played well. It sounds like a match between two mid-table teams which we just happened to win. Lovely result but on another day it could have easily gone the other way. This isn't our breakthrough moment folks, or even much of an improvement yet. We are still miles, miles away from the Liverpools and Man Cities. I was really hoping we'd be seeing more positive signs by now. I want Lo Celso to be running games, Kane and Son to be back to their best, Winks to be out metronome, Lucas our spark, Sissoko our midfield dynamo (ok, too far) but it just ain't happening like that.
The midfielders also play much closer to the defenders, we can get very compact at times. Mind, thats part of the reason Kane can get isolated.Trust me it was a far far better performance. Worse than Bournemouth lol.The fact we won just shows how bad Arsenal are

I like this 442 formation. If we can have a solid ball playing DM and Lo celso in front of him, along with a better set of wingers than Sissoko or Moura(he played exceptional today I agree), this formation has the potential ... Specially, son constantly running at the channel of opposition defenders will always keep opposition midfielders on their toes...
Diamonds back on the menu boys
Like honestly, the 3rd form team in the league. Their last four games goals 9 - conceded 1, and they've played two direct rivals in Leicester and Wolves. The fact we won just shows how bad Arsenal are
Worked his arse off. Everyone did to be fair. Sissoko went on a storming run late on and lay there on the floor fked afterwards.I was listening on the radio so my experience was filtered through pundits, but it sounded like Lucas really put a shift in today, seemed to say his name every third touch.
