I would LOVE Brozovic, and thats from a guy that rates Ndombélé highly. Brozovic is a insane midfielder for anyone that watches Serie A. My only reservation with a deal like that is the fact that he turns 28 soon, so we would need some money back, for sure. If it was up to me, I would keep Ndombélé, but if Mourinho hates him, his value will only go down. Skriniar(good but not great CB) and Perisic i wouldn't like at all.

Put it this way, there is no way Levy is selling him unless he makes his money back / a profit.

I'd expect a loan, potentially with option to buy if it does happen.

IMO the more rumours for other players, means more likely he is off to bring in some dosh.

One positive is that Inter fans seem to think the rumour is a bit suspect. Don't think Ndombele fits into Conte's system at all, and a fair few people seem to think it might have been leaked to exert pressure on Brescia to sell Sandro Tonali, who they're apparently interested.

Romano is usually reliable but hopefully this is a bit of a smokescreen for Inter or something.

Yeah this would be a mistake in my opinion. Still believe a mid 3 of PEH, LoCelso and Ndombele when settled would be pretty incredible with Kane,Son and Bergwijn/Lucas in front of them.

Yeah, I mean weren’t there rumors that Conte was pissed at Eriksens work rates? I don’t think Conte is far off from Mourinho from his defensive demands.

Sometimes I feel like people don’t understand how ridiculously talented this guy is, Imo our biggest talent right now

He doesn’t seem to have a attitude problem so we would be very stupid to sell him already. Buy a DM (probably Højbjerg) and you will see how good he is. A midfield of him and Lo Celso in-front of a DM is world class, and we have a world class striker and winger (Son), a potentially very good player (Bergwijn). We need to strengthen the squad not make it worse

The issue is that if he can't win Mourinho over he could be losing 2 years of his career and that wouldn't do him or us any favours.

Hopefully Jose is committed to fitting him in still as has been mentioned by ITK before. With the team becoming more solid recently hopefully that could still happen.

Tottenham open talks with Inter over Tanguy Ndombele sale for reduced fee
  • Spurs want £45m for France midfielder
  • Tottenham monitoring Ivan Perisic’s situation
Tottenham are in talks with Internazionale over a potential deal to sell Tanguy Ndombele for a reduced fee less than 13 months after he became the club’s record signing for £55m.

The France midfielder has endured a difficult first season in the Premier League since joining from Lyon in July 2019 and signing a six-year deal with Spurs, having started just 12 Premier League games. But despite José Mourinho stating he was confident the 23-year-old “can turn it around” at the start of July, Inter have entered negotiations with Tottenham that could see Ndombele join Antonio Conte’s side if an agreement can be reached.

Spurs have indicated that they would accept €50m (£45m) for Ndombele – a figure that would represent a significant loss on the fee they paid last summer – although Inter are not believed to be willing to go that high. There is also a possibility of a swap deal potentially involving Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar, who Mourinho views as a replacement for Jan Vertonghen after the Belgium defender left Spurs at the end of his contract.

It is also understood that Tottenham are monitoring the situation of Ivan Perisic, who has also been linked with a switch to Bayern Munich. They remain favourites but Mourinho is a big admirer of the Croatian having previously attempted to sign him at Manchester United.

It make no sense your first statement with the last one about loan with an option.

No way Levy would allow him to leave on loan + option. Maybe with an obligation.

Maybe.

£45m? That would be a travesty.

I think most people know he's talented and want him to stay but Mou doesn't seem to be a fan. I don't think a trade will happen as Levy will either want more than what he paid as he knows how good Tanguy can be.

Sorry Daniel Levy is still the chairman, right? Fuck a duck, crucify him for being the tight fisted, tunnel vision twat that we all know him to be but at the same time watch him take a hit of that magnitude?

LOL

He's either an astute business man or not.

There is no chance levy takes a loss on a player with as much talent as Ndombele. We’ve had many players be average for a season and then become key players... I’d be heartbroken if we sell him at a loss
