If we could do a deal for Brozovic AND Skriniar then I'd be interested.

Really want to see Ndombele come good though, such a unique talent. Serie A does sound more his speed though.
Skriniar is a brilliant player but a player of his stature is, I think, the last thing this squad needs. Kim Min Jae makes total sense because he’s young and unproven in Europe; he’d settle for a squad role. Trying to pick two from Skriniar, Toby, Sanchez and Dier is going to cause issues.

I really hope we don't budge but ultimately what can we do if the manager doesn't rate him? We can't pick and choose when to scold Levy for backing the manager (I mean we can :cautious: )

From Di Marzio and Romano:

Inter, first contacts with Tottenham for Ndombele

Tanguy Ndombele is the new name for Inter's midfield . The French born in 1996 in Tottenham is a profile that has always been liked by the Nerazzurri club who has been following him for some time, even before his transfer to the Premier from Lyon for 60 million.

And the first contacts between the two companies have begun , with Inter who could set up the operation with an exchange, inserting a player who may like Mourinho like Brozovic, Perisic (who Mou wanted in the United times) or Skriniar. The latter in particular could interest Spurs and Special One more.

Its a fair point, my preference would totally be for him to stay and come good next season.

Skriniar is a good player but if we swap for him it just leaves another huge hole in our squad in midfield. Plus we are pretty stacked in centre back already. Perisic is old and not needed, which leaves Brozovic as the only semi-realistic option.

Agreed.

And Serie A does have coffee shops & pizzerias at various intervals across each pitch.

Not sure how (even though I've been critical of him) giving up on Ndombele in favour of those names mentioned helps Spurs mid to long term. I'm not in favour of swapping players (it doesn't happen often) especially given the pitfalls that come with that ...

This doesn't seem beneficial at all.

The only Inter player worth giving up Ndombele for is Martinez — and he’s off to Barca. If we’re really gonna do this let’s pick a fuckin better club instead of one that has just consistently overpaid for players leaving their prime.

If we sell him then we absolutely have to replace him with a top young talent at the No 8 position. I could just about live with it if we got a player of the quality of Skriniar in exchange for him, but it would be an absolute necessity that we also look to bring in an out-and-out replacement.

There's still a massive Dembele-shaped hole in our midfield and we can't go another season without filling it, whether it's Ndombele or someone else.

Please no...
Brozovic is class but he’s almost 28. Ndombele is 23 and has astronomical potential. Only way I would be at all close to satisfied is if they gave us a couple of their better players: Skriniar, Bastoni, Barella etc

Sometimes I feel like people don’t understand how ridiculously talented this guy is, Imo our biggest talent right now

He doesn’t seem to have a attitude problem so we would be very stupid to sell him already. Buy a DM (probably Højbjerg) and you will see how good he is. A midfield of him and Lo Celso in-front of a DM is world class, and we have a world class striker and winger (Son), a potentially very good player (Bergwijn). We need to strengthen the squad not make it worse

Considering we are king of the Broke Boy tribe, we should only entertain this if they're coming with lots of cash. Perisic has maybe half a year to a year left at the top level, Brozovic will be 28 this November, and Skriniar is a good CB but unless Toby or Dav is going not required compared to other needs.

6 months ago this would have been inconceivable, even with a slow start to his Spurs career, but now it seems less so.

Really hope he stays here, but wouldn’t surprise me now if he did leave considering our newly found penury. Not to mention the fact that he hardly played, injured or otherwise, in Mourinho’s time at the club.
