Just read through this thread and it's fantastic. I love the way no one in here actually knows anything about the guy other than what's on YT or transfermrkt.

I know you were, I was responding more to the angry reaction from people watching his clips, im suprised it's as negative as it is, it wasn't that bad as the reaction suggests.

I think there have been very valid points made by people in here as to why there is some concern or disappointment if it does turn out to be Vinicius who we sign. But of course though if you arent super positive and act like he will be amazing then you are a 'bed wetter' or a 'complete state' who hates the club and everything spurs does.

Lets just accept that people will have a difference of opinion and wait to see what happens.

He does seem like he has tidy feet and he is fucking massive tbf to him. The Jimenez stat comparison is very interesting too.

I’ve never seen him play, but our scout team and Jose will have. Having watched a lot of Edouard he was my dream signing, but bring on the unit I guess.

The only reason people want Daka and not this guy, despite having never watched either, is because Daka has pace and is more of a ‘bumms off seets’ player.

I can actually see this happening.

I live in Lisbon and coach here too, so watch games and hear opinions regarding a lot of players.

Now, I know that Benfica moved heaven and earth to bring in Jorge Jesus. Many people hear were doubting Jesus coming back, mostly because of money, but I'd heard from two people I have as clients and are very very close to the Benfica president/board that Benfica were putting out all the stops and promised him big spending.

However, even though Benfica are the richest club here, they aren't exactly lying in a pool of cash. So far they have bought Darwin, Cebolinha, Waldschmidt, Gilberto and Pedrinho. Spending way more than anyone expected or felt they could.

They've hardly sold anyone. Therefore they need certainly need to.
Taarabt, Florenrino, Tavares and Grimaldo have been linked with moves away but they won't bring in substantial money and Jesus wants Grimaldo to stay.

Therefore they need to offload one of their prized assets. It won't be Dias, Pizzi or Grimaldo and Jesus will want the likes of Jota to stick around. With Pedrinho, Cebolinha and Darwin coming in it leads to one conclusion. Selling Vinicius.

Jesus also likes to play with a striker who runs the channels rather than a big CF.

Getting Vinícius is a smart move by the club. If we want a 'bumms off seets' player, then people can pray we get Bale.

Given his release fee is 100 million euros, and Benefica are on record stating they want 60 million euros, not sure how we will finance this deal. I imagine Mendes will come into player for us.

Thats all very well when you're arguing from a 'valid' standpoint as you say and have the stats to back up ones opinion, which by the way the opinions so far don't seem to do. But bitching and whinging from a purely contrary only or trolling standpoint is fucking annoying.

Nothing makes me angrier than being around senseless negativity. How bout we all shut the fuck up and back the guy if he comes in ok? Footballers are very aware of social media, I doubt he’s lurking on here, but on twitter, ig, etc. can’t we all just be positive and support the guy. In case he does care or is checking social media, make him feel wanted. It’s so annoying how some people just desperately want the tiniest thing to complain about.

I can’t believe you live in Portugal, wrote all this about Jorge Jesus (who sounds made up tbh) but haven’t told us a single thing about the player none us know anything about.

Is he any good? Or is he literally Jansen?
