I thought they were excellent first half last night. They were a well drilled and organised team.
There off the ball runs created so much space for them and with our lack of closing down they dictated play.
i thought there passing was excellent, they were knocking it around and over our players, and they looked more like the home team.
They looked solid up until we scored, then it hit them for 6 and there confidence just drained from that point on. Also i think there fitness was an issue, as we seemed to get stronger as they faded away. (unlike spurs)

Anyways full credit to Aalborg, a good team, great support and they played a great game of footy, the way it should be played! Good sportsmanship!

Considering the most expensive player was £100,000 I thought they played really well. The commentator mentioned that one of their full backs was a life long Spurs fan as well! Yiddo!

A perfect blend of Steve Hodge and Andy Sinton...

A lot of youngsters in their team, players that a lot more people will have heard of in
a few years. They were very good in the first half and (whisper...) I thought we did pretty well to beat them in the end.

It was Pedersen right? I read a article about him, he said that he loved every moment at WHL and he wanted to cause an upset at his favourite club!

They played very well and really took us by suprise, they definitley weren't a walkover team, as they had demonstrated against Sampdoria.

But we did well in 2nd half and came back strong.

Sometimes these things happen and i think it shows real improvement under Ramos that we came back as well as we did. I hate to say it but i feel that under Jol we would have lost that game badly.

a true life-long spurs fan would've knocked one into the back of his own net when we were 2-0 down

Their fans played full part too. They certainly supported their team and gave some atmosphere to the evening.

That left back was actually their worst player last night. Good side as a whole, but Pedersen gave the ball away quite a bit. Maybe he was doing his bit after all...

I thought Andreas Johanssen the former Wigan player was bloody good for them last night, caused us a lot of problems playing in the hole

thought they played well - and given our poor start we did tremendously well to beat them

The only expensive player? im sure they said that the rest of the team didn't cost them a peny to bring in.

But they gave it a real go last night and i was getting worried they might make it 3-3 near the end

They were great but their best moment came after Berba’s goal. We were 2-1 down and they came out with ‘you only sing when you’re winning’. Bit too quick off the mark with that ‘Songs from the English terraces - Danish/English’ phrasebook :)

To be fair, Aalborg didn't play much better or worse yesterday, than they do in the Danish League. In my opinion it's actually Spurs' performance yesterday that you should give some thoughts rather than Aalborgs...

And just for the enlightenment: FC Copenhagen from our Mickey Mouse League beat Manchester United one year ago in Champions League.
When was it again Tottenham did that in your domestic league...?
