Very comfortable result, apart from a few dodgy moments at the start of the half. Good win. COYS.

I’ve said it before, we can genuinely win the league if Jose trust the attacking players

People think I hate Mourinho, I don’t. I just don’t think he will change and can get more out of this squad, the best squad we’ve had in a long time

Well a two goal win against the great SU. Only the 16th defeat they have suffered in 18 games, we must be brilliant.
A good warm up for the tough game against bottom of the Championship Chairboys.

Good match, expected us to concede from a set-piece or a cross, no surprise there. Ndombele simply class, both his passes and finishing.

Ndombele so much better deeper. Controls games and drives at defenders instead of having his back to goal more.

I think he’s experienced enough to know who he can and can’t trust. We need more quality aside from son and kane in attacking positions.

So the gf got pissed off because I was watching with headphones in and shouting shit in a quiet flat.

Comes in and says "why are you getting so excited about beating a team no one's heard of"

Can't please some people.

I'd be happy with going with 343 for a while. Don't think it's our best back three today, but I'd be happy with the rest of the team. Getting Ndombele in a deeper position is a must.

I don’t wanna tempt fate, but can any small remaining complaints about tanguy’s fitness or work rate end here please? 95 last week, 80 this week, 95 4 days later. Still pressing, still tackling, still running.
Was thinking how strong and energetic he was looking right in to stoppage time. He’s obviously worked hard on his cardio and he’s been managed well, building it up over time.

I know we have the 2 goal lead, but I'm a bit annoyed how we've approached this second half which has been the same in all the other games we've dropped points. It's as if no lessons have been learned. But for Tanguys moment of brilliance we'd be probably looking at the same outcome right now.
I think that Jose's intention is to maximise those two or three chances per game so I wouldn't be surprised if he's pleased overall with today (apart from conceding).
