It's so satisfying to watch Ndombele turn around the naysayers, he just needed time to settle and get to grips with what was expected of him. Starting to flourish now and even rival fans are appreciating him.

The keeper and the defenders had all their weight completely the wrong side as the obvious strike was to go across the goal from there and that's what they expected him to do. Brilliant.I actually think his first goal was slightly the better of the two. There aren't many players in the league that would've finished that first time with their right foot, it wasn't natural but it was so, so clever.
Funny, not sure everyone is aware of this - but he's become a holding mid/deep distributor type of player at Benfica! Pretty amazing considering the one thing that held him back all during his career and certainly his time here was the work rate and positional discipline.Reminds me of
Yeah, I remember that game. What struck me about Dembele was that he played even BETTER in big games. Even at Fulham, he absolutely ran the show at Old Trafford multiple times. Did the same for us.Dembele's perfromance away at Juventus in Turin was probably the best CM performance I have ever seen from a Spurs CM. Total mastery of the game.
Well those people are assholes...NDomPele he is described elsewhere.
Eh, I mean he's won a Balon D'or & the Golden Ball for best player at the world cup. He's very decorated on an individual level.Yeah, I remember that game. Funnily enough, I think the single best CM performance I've ever seen actually comes from another Spurs CM - Modric vs Spain at Euro 2012. Bossed the Xavi/Iniesta/Busquets combo by himself. The outside of the boot pass/cross he played that should have been put away is one of the best passes of all time.
Two unbelievably good players. Two of the best we'll ever see. Dembele certainly doesn't, but maybe not even Modric at RM fully get the credit they deserve.
I've just named my son Tanguy! Not sure how this will go down with him as he's 13 and called Lucas...
Unless he’s referring to Modric... who we signed almost 13 years ago...I'm assuming he's only been called Lucas since May 2018 anyway, so it shouldn't be too tricky for him. What was he called before that?
It certainly works better than the 'Underbelly' offering from the previous page..NDomPele he is described elsewhere.
Who dat?Reminds me of

It’s only natural that there will be comparisons with other players, especially our own players throughout our history when discussing Ndombele. They will only increase, because he is one hell of a talent.Pointless because it's produced 3 pages of an absolute nothing argument
Only your second post in 8 years, and it's an absolute belter.I think Underbelly can be better than Moussa Dembelle , he doesn't like running though
Lol, nah... Tanguy shits all over him.Taarabt
