I'm a FANBOY of Dembele but Ndombele has arguably done more in his short time than Dembele ever did at Tottenham
That must be the widest of the mark comment of the year, congrats.

Yeah it was a pretty unnecessary comment. Dombele was ace and is missed. Ndombele is equally ace. There wasn't any need to make comparisons.Dembele was, at his peak, top 5 best midfielders in the world. Thats how good he was... 100% believe that. He was so underrated it was a disgrace to all football.
Now I'm fucking pissed off
For all his flair, what I really love about him is that he's always looking for the pass. And he has this art of almost "shaping" the ball as he does so.

So much wrong in one sentence.I'm a FANBOY of Dembele but Ndombele has arguably done more in his short time than Dembele ever did at Tottenham
It is if that's all you think it is.
Agree. Would trust Dembele to hold with someone like winks or Sissoko. Would only trust tanguy with PEHOn the defence side I would take Dembele .
As for the attacking side of the game I would take Ndombele .
Combine the two you have the worlds best all round midfielder IMO
His talent is off the charts but for me the most impressive thing about last night was attitude.
If this was the 4th round last season and he was brought on with 20 mins to go on a freezing cold night away at Wycombe, I'm convinced he'd have had a stroll around the pitch and gone through the motions. Last night it was like he said 'right I'm on now, let's get this done' He took control of the game. Just brilliant.
Attitude was spot on. In 20 minutes he played a killer pass in the build up to Winks goal, scored 1 with a precise finish and one worldy that would have left most defenders for dead. He's really hitting his stride now and the players around him should be getting on his wavelength now. Would like to see Dele and him but doubt very much it will happen now.
Yeah i agree. So nonchalant but he knew exactly what he was doing.I actually think his first goal was slightly the better of the two. There aren't many players in the league that would've finished that first time with their right foot, it wasn't natural but it was so, so clever.

I think Underbelly
I think Underbelly can be better than Moussa Dembelle , he doesn't like running though
One of the pundits on 5Live the other week, it may have been Nevin, was saying that to him, it looks like Tanguy's playing Futsal. It's almost like he's playing a different game to everyone else, he has that much control over the ball.I have been trying to figure out what it is that Ndombele does that is different from other players. These are some thoughts:
Firstly he hits the ball harder - as a norm - than any other player. He fires arrows into the penalty area with accuracy. If you have player like Kane with a superb first touch - this works very well by giving defences little time to react. Watch the way he hits the ball, and it is a combination of instep and side foot giving him power and accuracy. He also tends to kick with a rotational sweeping movement.
The other thing that is distinct about Ndombele is that he doesn't stand erect. He starts off in a slightly 'crouched' position. Once he has the ball and a defender around him, you will see him push his head even further forward, and his ass is pushed back. As he swivels in this space, his torso is over the ball and that that 'sticky out ass' is really in the defenders way. They cant get near the ball.
So he is built for 'rotation' and uses it well.
Im really excited - he is clearly a wonderful player, and one I think will get even better.
