Son, Hojbjerg and Kane desperately need a rest.

Bale needs to be saved and Bergwijn, Dele and Vinicius need confidence.

You play anyone in this game and their confidence will already be shot

Think we could see a decent team here. Probably not full strength but I almost wouldn’t blame Jose if he did it to really hope to build up some confidence? You run the risk of injuries obviously, so maybe you give Kane the rest again. Nice thing is the game is Wednesday and we play Burnley Sunday.

I'd really rather not use PEH, Son, Kane unless it's looking really bad.

Based on the fact that I’d like to see the following against Burnley next weekend, and that this game should be a dead rubber

v Burnley

————Lloris————
Aurier Toby Rodon Reguilon
——Hojbjerg Ndombele—-
Bale——-Dele——-Son
———-Kane————-

v WAC

——————-Hart————
Tanganga Sanchez Dier Davies
———-Winks Sissoko——-
Moura——-lamela—-bergwijn
—————Vinicius————-

That team should have enough to scrape through.
No way should hojbjerg, Ndombele, Kane or son be anywhere near the pitch on Wednesday- they are too vital to our season to be risked.

Lloris
Tanganga Sanchez Alderweireid Reguilón Ndombele Winks
Bale Dele Son
Kane

Hart Doherty Dier Davies Højbjerg Sissoko Lucas Lamela Vinicius
Go strong, aim to have the tie out of sight by half time, sub off Reguilón, Ndombele, Bale and Kane so they can start at the weekend.

I'd give Bale 45 mins on Wednesday personally with the plan of starting him on Saturday

The tie is out of sight no? They need to beat us by 4 goals to go through as things stand. Don’t see why anyone of importance needs to be risked in this game. Probably our best chance to actually rest some players properly.

If Bale can only play one game a week, let’s make it Burnley next weekend and from the start.

Kane, Son, Højbjerg and Ndombele needs to rest. Bale needs matches so would start him here and sub him at half time or around the 60 min mark. Dele also need games so should start. As for defense, pick whoever will play the next round in PL. Our CB's need to gel more than anything, playing with different pairings each week provides nothing but confusion. Maybe even go 3 CB and play both Reggie and Doherty but unsure about that one.

Hugo
Toby Dier Davies
Doherty Reggie
Sissoko Winks
Dele
Bale Vinicius

1) this is Spurs.
2) some players like Bale and Reguilón could probably do with building up their minutes.
3) others like Kane and Son could probably do with one ricocheting in of their bonces to get a bit of confidence amidst the recent barren spell.

I am at the '" whatever " stage as I know we have no chance of winning the EUROPA but of course you would want your team to win it .
My biggest problem is no cohesion / no system of play / and the worst is no real attacking intent / they seem to play like strangers and are not aware of what their teammates are doing . Other maligned defensive managers would get a better tune out of our squad than Jose .
If we are going to be a mid table team let it be mid table with a team that has intentions to attack and be on the front foot .

With a midweek league game next week, squad rotation is as important as ever.

Wolfsberger:

-----------------Hart--------------
Tanganga---Toby--Dier---Davies
----------Winks--Sissoko---------
--Lamela-------Alli-----Bergwijn--
--------------Vinicius--------------

Substitutions:
Doherty for Tanganga
Rodon for Dier
Bale for Lamela

Burnley:

----------------Lloris----------------
Aurier---Sanchez--Dier---Reguilon
--------Hojbjerg--Ndombele-------
--Bale--------Moura---------Son--
----------------Kane----------------

Substitutions:
Lamela for Bale
Alli for Moura
Sissoko for Ndombele

Would you put it past us not to concede 4 goals with the way our defence has been performing recently?
