He did himself no favours with the changes, but can’t only blame him when only 3 players showed up for the game today.
Don’t you see that this is exactly why the knives are out from some? He’s had it absolutely shown to him this past few weeks that we are actually kind of good when we try to play football, but he comes up against the behemoths of footballing brilliance that are mid table Arsenal, led by managerial mastermind Arteta, and he wets his little knickers. We played some decent games the last weeks and saw encouraging signs.
And Brighton won.
Fuck me this could go nuclear.
He needs to go.I was amazed that Doherty was RB today. I was amazed at the bench. I was shocked at our performance. Seems there was no game plan, just play off the cuff. I have gone on record stating I want him to succeed, and I have not changed from that. But a combination of his selection (Doherty) and tactics truly leaves me miffed. In a NLD FFS!
That performance has pushed me over the edge. No half hearted stance. I'm full Jose out. I want him out of my club now. No more.
This didn't age wellLamela does well not to get sent off though to be fair. He knows how to push his limits without going over the top. He's aggressive but not really dangerous or particularly dirty. I think that's why Jose likes him, because he's an intelligent ****. The only reason I wouldn't have him as a regular starter is because he doesn't produce enough goals/assists for the position he plays. You look at Bale now on the right already showing the end product that Lamela, Moura and Bergwijn have struggled on a consistent basis. That for me is the difference between a good squad player and a starter.
We've improved recently, but that was a shocking performance.
Na mate even if we’d equalised it wouldn’t have changed my option to be honest I stand by it, the way we play in these games is horrendous not just the results it’s the negativity, lack of ideas with the balls, lack of attacks that is the issue, 13 shots vs 2 today against one of worst Arsenal sides for decades, if we’d got a lucky equaliser it would’ve been daylight robbery.Writing all that before the final whistle. You were really banking on us not getting an equaliser.
We play better on the front foot. We don’t play on the front foot against any team of any significance and it hasn’t really worked. Not much more to this than that. Expect the same against Villa next week.
I apologise for you missing my sarcasm thereAnd there it is again, someone else who has no clue how a caps lock button works. A forum is the last place you should be.

Harry Kane not getting a chance in the box until we’re 2-1 down with 10 men and the clock ticking us unforgivable.
Since we beat Arsenal in the reverse fixture, we've played a top half team 8 times and lost every single one of them.
Bad performance, not much energy, but fck me getting the knives out now again is utterly pathetic. We played some decent games the last weeks and saw encouraging signs. Next weeks will show if we can continue. Always bad to lose a NLD, but who expects now to win every game will be disappointed. Move on.
And me.
I’ve been leaning to each side of the fence at various time of the season but now I’ve had enough and nothing will change my mind. Unforgivable to not get your players up for the NLD and having them put in a gutless performance.
The sad thing is we’re damned either way. We need CL to stay competitive, especially in the pandemic, so if he lucks his way to the EL trophy then we’re stuck with him. If we don’t get CL football I’m sure there’s a clause in his contract to get rid easily but we’d be hard pressed to attract the manager and players we need.
It’s depressing.
