I'm rather glad we weren't the first to pull out, as I have absolutely no doubt there'd be references to "bottling it" and "oh no! not spurs. That'll show them" or somesuchlike...

I don’t like the idea of a ESL but players have too much power. Not too sure if it will ever change now though.
Looking at player wages, who are not part of the governance of football, to ignore the actual decision makers is a massive and convenient distraction.

players are the employees of a product that makes a lot of money, through good representation they’ve managed to claim a very large pot of that, I don’t have an ethical problem with that, they don’t make the rules or decide how much money comes into the game. Clubs are not required to offer them those wages either. Like it or not the money in football is there it’s right for workers to maximise that, regardless of the profession. I wish people outside of football were better at maximising their own economic contribution. The players are not the problem, the system is.

101% of Spurs fans can't be wrong.
101% of the time, Spurs fans are right, every time.

His tone wasnt the best I agree but I think he was clearly passionate about it and emotive.

The main issue I had with Neville in his passionate rant was the disrespect to the other 4 clubs. Also he tends to forget that his beloved Utd were the main benefactors of the Premier League split from the old football league. I think Klopp referred to this.
Yes Sir Alex is one of the greatest managers in history but would UTDs dominance be were it was if it wasn’t for the extra Prem League money they got in the first few years?

Oh my god imagine the scenes when it turns out Cech lied to the fans. To their fucking faces.

Was wondering if today withdrawals is just ESL masterplan to conclude this year UCL and Europa...

Just doesnt make sense when they planned for a decade and collectively exit after 48hrs. And they must have prepared themselves for backlash since.
I dont think it's over just yet.

The ESL clubs wont give a fuck about City leaving.

With Chelsea and Man City leaving the Super Duper League we are two places closer to winning it! Now if, the other 9 clubs would fuck off....

therein lies most of the problem - to Sky, most pundits and media, there is nothing outside of Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal. you can see it on Super Sunday coverage where a games get 10 mins pre/post match coverage unless it involves them (I suppose you could argue it applies to ‘the big six’).

we even go split screen on games to watch their players walk off a bloody bus.

In case anyone is confused about rounding numbers in polling.
