Probably lowest expectations I’ve had going into a final. I wasn’t particularly hopeful when in CL final, but drinking my weight in beer and being awake for 35hrs by time we kicked off had given me some hope. Just hope we actually make a game of it and cut out the dumb mistakes. If we lose, wanna go down swinging

Let's be honest, we're getting slapped today. But at least we can be positive, look to play football, and have the whole affair clouded with negativity and fear of recriminations.

Yeah, we should have won that game. Chelsea had Costa and Hazard not fully fit and a lot of their second-string team out.

i’m not as nervous as I would normally be for a big game because i have managed my own expectations. After all its the hope that kills you.
But if we are to lose today, I just hope its not cruel......a stoppage time winner, a shit penalty, a refereeing howler, or we once agin fail to show up for a big game and its 3-0 by half time.

Yes I expect we will lose it's standard, but I keep a small torch burning in the hope that the club can deliver.
With my dad now 87 and struggling to be on his feet for too long this represents perhaps one last chance of glory with him even though I won't be with him in person.
The sands of time are running out for all of us but if the sporting god's provide us with one more chance I will be happy, I know he will be watching today and probably fall asleep during it ? but come on dad let's have it today Coys.
