Imagine if he left and we somehow did a leicester
It was Kane and not being Spursy all along haha. Man City will get banned from CL for 4 years (won’t actually be turned over this time) and a 50 point deduction. I can see it now.

I’m genuinely sad. The end of an era where watching Tottenham with my kids was unbelievably fun because a player like Kane, especially from 2015 onwards, has been magnificent.

Now my kids are older, some have found life difficult lately, and so the early/ mid Poch era, spearheaded by Kane’s monumental talent and sheer desire, becomes what it was always destined to be: a gorgeous string of memories of a time I won’t get back. Life and Tottenham wrapped up together- the good and the sad
My kids are currently playing Fifa 21 and keep complaining about how slow Kane is, so I guess every cloud has a silver lining! ?

i really don't think him going to city will be the slam dunk success people assume.

1) they're a phenomenally well organised team and will probably win the CL without needing him
2) harry's never moved before outside of short term loans and he's got a young family; it's a big change
3) he suddenly isn't the main man and he won't play every week; we've seen how guardiola treated aguero recently
4) injuries
5) the abuse he'll take will be unreal and unprecedented. if he thinks being called "legends" bothers him wait til his first away game where tens of thousands are booing his every touch.

it really strikes me as more of a torres to chelsea or fabregas to barca than RVP to united, but maybe i'm just looking for an upside
I really think you are. He’ll win trophies wherever he goes next and get paid much more. We’ll become even more shit and he’ll never look back.

The whole notion that he can leave with our best wishes after a job well done is fucking defeatist bullshit.

After multiple failed loans, we still rewarded him with a new contract and gave him the platform to become a global star. In that time he’s been rewarded with a stream of new contracts that now has him earning £200k+ per week. We smashed our entire wage structure for him.

He moans in the media about wanting to win trophies and yet we’ve given him the platform to compete for the biggest trophies available and he’s gone missing in every single one of those games.

If the media is to be believed, he first told the club he would be interested in a move away last year. He wasn’t even prepared to give Mourinho a chance. He essentially wanted out at the very first sign of trouble at this club.

He is 47 goals away from breaking a record nobody thought would be broken. Essentially he’s 47 goals away from being Tottenham Hotspur’s greatest ever player. Don’t forget this is a club he supports and says he loves.

Instead, he’d rather destroy the end of our season by selling himself in interviews and turn his back on us at the first sign of trouble and do a deal with the devil just for a trophy that would have very little significance for him personally. City are winning trophies with or without Harry Kane.

The guy doesn’t know what loyalty means. Fuck him.

Sorry, I know it's the Kane thread.

Yeah I'm in a stinking mood & feel like hating everyone today, so I guess I deserve the pelters that come my way when I say, I disagree with your opinion about PEH.

He's a solid enough player, but limited, in my opinion. CL quality players breeze past him with ease on a regular basis. In fact, any mobile/skillful player does, and the only way he can stop them, is by committing petty fouls.

I appreciate many on here do rate the guy. But the modern game involves much more than shouting at others and thumping your chest every now and again.

Just ask yourselves this. Assuming we are indeed a top 6 club (yeah, I know. But use your imagination) how many of the other top 6 clubs to you reckon would want him as the mainstay in their midfield? And why didn't they go for him when we bought him for literally peanuts?

Just my opinion.

I do agree with this mate.

I think the reason I was raving about him earlier in the season was because I liked his effort. In a team full absolute fanny's he stood out as someone who'd take a whack and get straight back up. Remember a Europa league game with his eyebrow pissing with blood. Or that league Cup game where his shinpad got snapped and he tried to carry on.

I've never hated our team so much. So many pussies. Especially in CM where you need strong, determined players. At least he tries.

If we had a team that gave his effort we'd be doing much better.

If Kane leaves it doesn’t mean we won’t be signing talented players ever again. Money talks — we could give him Kane’s wages.
I think people need to get real if Grealish became available lots of clubs would be interested and he would have better options than Spurs. Ambition talks.

There is no loyalty in football anymore mate even before this.

Need to spend the money well on younger players, too late for Grealish and Watkins (missed those chances).

DF - Skriniar (if we can't get him then Milenkovic)
DF - Anderson
M - Bissouma
F - Neto
+ a right back
+ a striker (David, En-Nesyri, Daka)

If they thought wednesday was unpleasant, then wait until next season. I think Levy will have to stop coming to games. It will get bad. West Ham owner protest levels of bad I suspect with pitch invasions, anti levy and Enic songs etc.

I hope it will be enough to send the little parasite packing
