No, the transfer fee doesn’t go into his pocket. But the salary he justifies himself with is based on getting deals like this done. Raking it in.
Yeah, the salary that's lower than most of the players'. How rude of him. With the stick he gets for things that aren't his fault, he deserves every penny.

If we won't get the extra money from man City to sell him, might as well get kane to pay it himself

Have any ITKs said anything on Kane in the last couple of days?

I haven’t seen anything but the thread is growing very quickly so hard to keep up

Club legend, new coaching staff must love him. Hope City draw Sevilla eventually somewhere, crazy eyes Lamela will do some work.

This 100%….I’m really shocked he’s chosen this route…he was on track to be the clubs highest scorer and legend and he’s now on the fast track to never being welcome at our club again….what a state of affairs. If that’s how he wants to play it then fine….but we must rinse city for every last penny…and then some more…we owe him nothing now.

Right. But Kane's bratty behaviour seems designed to ensure that DOESN'T happen: City don't appear to want to match our value, and are hoping his tantrum-ing will drive down his value and we'll be forced to sell.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

At this point I'm starting to suspect that City only made their £100m bid because Kane's people led them to believe that there was an agreement to let him leave for that amount.
I imagine that it was a starting point. No-one would go in at their maximum level offer as a starting point.

At this point the club should suspend him.

The down side being, that strengthens City’s hand in negotiations.

But they should do it regardless. No other player would be allowed to act this way.

Agree with you on this.

Lays the law down to avoid future player incidents.

Couldn’t agree more

it’s very clear over the years the bigger Kane has got the more the club have become so scared to lose him. They’ve chucked more and more at him and given more and more internal power (it’s well documented he has a say in managers etc and he should never have started the champs league final).
We’ve created this ‘monster’ it’s now time to deal with it.

obviously none of us actually know what’s going on behind the scenes but in my humble opinion we should go public on this - state that reluctantly we would sell, but under the following conditions….. exactly what Dortmund did with sancho.
Contract depending, we should be making it clear that he is in breach by not training and enough is enough.
Time for Tottenham to reclaim their position of strength instead of pandering to a player.
There will be a time when Kane is no longer with us, injury, age, moves etc - if that time is now then so be it - but own the situation and make it work for us.

Am I the only one worried about incomings now? It doesn't look good your star player is pushing his way out, I'd imagine some of the possible incomings will start to question what they are about to do.
Nah they are coming in for Paratici's vision and project not to play with Harry Kane.

Imagine City nope out of this situation and publicly state they didn't expect it to go down in such a toxic way and are therefore pulling out of any potential move.

What level of dumbfuck would Kane be at, then?

This makes it sounds like Levy and ENIC built a stadium for the love of Spurs and to showcase Harry's talents. That is so wrong. They built a Club to make money. Harry was just one of the larger cogs in the machine.

Yeah, to make money because unlike Man City we're run off our income, so the more income we have the better and more successful we can be.

Honestly expected more of Harry, have refrained from saying anything in here until there was some clear evidence, but 2 days in a row with not a peep from Harry himself is damning.

If he wants to go, come out and say it, request a transfer and act like a man. Don't hide behind articles, and thinly veiled interviews about wanting to win trophies. I honestly would have more respect if he just came out and told the truth.

We need to start leaking Chelsea/United bidding stories now to get citeh to up there price. Start playing the wankers at their own game and use the media against them.

As long as the funds are invested cleverly, and we bring in players that make the team better, then let's get our business done before we sell to Citeh on the last day of the window.

Some of you need to have a word with yourselves. Harry Kane has remained with this Club for way longer than he should have done. He'd be staying if Levy had made the right choices over the last few years. Kane truly loved the Club and gave it his best years for a lot less money than he'd have made elsewhere. It's Levy's fault. Levy didn't get the players in when we needed them and Levy fucked up the Club's trajectory, not Kane.

He gets paid a million quid a month.

Turn up for training, do your job and be a professional. If you want to leave hand in a transfer request, publicly if you have to.

Right now he's just a spoilt prick who has shown his total lack of respect for the fanbase and club as a whole,.

Nobody forced him to employ his brother and sign that 6 year contract.

Selfish !!!!, never want to see him in the shirt again.

160, or equivalent- Laporte and Jesus I like- or no deal.

Otherwise let him rot for a season not just till January, fck up his bid for records, England place etc.

I’d much rather watch an inferior team for a year than fold to his demands, but of course Levy will prioritise asset value over principle.

Has anyone stopped to think that maybe Kane has already been sold and both himself and Man City have been told to keep quiet while we work on a replacement?

This to me sounds much more plausable than Kane tring to force a move knowing the backlash he would get.
