I’m very happy for him to stay and think people are far to blasé about him leaving. I get it, a bit of me wants him to fuck off too but he’s by far our best player and genuinely one of the best in the world. Most agree that if he stays he’s professional enough to keep his head down and do what he does best which is help us win games.

We always do the same shit every year, people hang off every overly optimistic word every ITK says and assume we’re getting X player and then double down on that assumption by assuming X player is going to be amazing when we all know, that in the short term at least, we can’t replace what Harry brings to the team.

You're absolutely spot on, and I gave you a winner rating to show my agreement.

However, speaking solely for myself, fully aware that I'll most likely be lambasted & negged to fuck.

IF he stays (I still expect they'll stump up though) I'll not be able to bring myself to cheer any any of his goals, or support him on a personal level.

I've been clear throughout this whole saga, in respect that I support THFC, not individual players, as they come and go with great regularity.

I don't care who any player is, or how good he is. As soon as they make it clear they don't want to be at this great club, a club that we've all pretty much dedicated our lives to, as harsh as it sounds, they're dead to me.

Anything he does for this club now is nothing but an empty gesture, forced upon him by a contract that binds him to the club, which he does not wish to honour.

Fuck him!

Too right.
Yes, I'll probably cheers when he scores because I'll be celebrating a Spurs goal, not cheering for him.
I'll never sing his name now, nor will I ever look at him again in the way that I did.

Such a shame it had to go down this route.

Fwiw he's done well in training last couple of days, slotting straight back in.

Nuno is no longer concerned if he doesn't move on and he's now getting proper advice from SSS so hopefully the stupidity is over.

Well played Southgate!

Can anyone explain whether I missed something about Southgate playing a role in the Kane saga as per Trix post here?

Seems like the simplified timeline is:
(gratuitous mannerisms because I don't forgive him)

Charlie: "Time to leave spurs bro"
Harry: "yeah, no, obviously"
Neville: "So you want to leave?"
Harry: "yeah, no, obviously maybe"
City: "We'll offer £100m"
Harry: "yeah, no, obviously I can leave for that"
Daniel: "That's stupid. You're not going that cheap"
Charlie "We had an agreement! Harry - don't go back. You're off to City anyway"
Harry: "yeah, no, obviously I'm going to Florida instead"
Southgate: "Harry - you've let me down, you utter plank"
Spurs Fans: "Harry - you've let us down, you snake"
Harry: "yeah, no, obviously wtf"
SSS: "Harry, what are you doing? You will destroy your image. Your brother is a fucking nugget"
Harry: "yeah, no, it seems obvious now"

I'm speculating as I have only seen the same as yourself but the inference looks like Southgate may have had a word and hooked Kane up with SSS as he is represented by them also. Seems to be a PR company specialising in sports stars.

Let's face it this has been a PR disaster for Harry so he definately needed something.
