Play away, by all means. But I’d be very surprised if the worse-case-scenario didn’t happenWe're dreading but there is also info counter to that which is that there was a deadline and it passed. No one knows what really is happening so all of the self flagellation prior to anything happening is speculative and therefore non sensical. To coin a popular phrase in here, i will throw my toys out of the pram if and when that happens but for the time being, i'll keep playing with them.
This is the scenario we’re dreading, isn’t it? It’s also the scenario we know is going to most likely happen: sell Kane at the very last minute and not have time to reinvest with a quality replacement
Problem is, would you out it past him? I know I have no confidence in that fact
Edmonton:
I’ve been told if City come in with a real £150m bid he’s still gone, good news is there is no sign of that.
He's one of our own,Thanks, I am a sensitive individual...
Not really, a boy born & raised in Islington N1, dad was a gooner, mum's family all gooners, most of the kids i went to school with all gooners, went to the Library regularly up to the age of 10.
Then i saw the light ("felt" the difference in atmosphere at the Lane in 1965) no turning back...
Paratici will have deals lined up if needed. I’m not worried. But I would rather he is sold than he stays as I think we could do with the money for the re-build.Anyone else worried we sell Kane for 150 million next week and don't replace with two quality attackers? I don't see who we can buy.
It just feels like if City meet our valuation, Kane is gone regardless of what state that leaves us on the pitch, and if that's the case, it's a scandal.
Yeah, he'd be a mug to look this gift horse in the mouth. His name has been dirt amongst the fan base and Kane has totally turned that round.I'm sorry but Levy just won't do that.
He's already on the ropes with the fanbase.

The probably ideal scenario which won’t happen would be that Kane stays and signs a new deal but we manage to sell: Doherty,CCV,Sissoko,Ndombele,Winks,Aurierand use that money and some extra to buy : RB, CM, AM, ST then we’d be cooking. If we also sell Kane then add an extra ST and AM to the list
Im with Coops here. Kane has taken the soul out of the connection he had/was afforded with fans. He's just another footballer now taking a wage from the club. He'll never be a HODDLE, Perryman, King etc as good as he his. You're absolutely spot on, and I gave you a winner rating to show my agreement.
However, speaking solely for myself, fully aware that I'll most likely be lambasted & negged to fuck.
IF he stays (I still expect they'll stump up though) I'll not be able to bring myself to cheer any any of his goals, or support him on a personal level.
I've been clear throughout this whole saga, in respect that I support THFC, not individual players, as they come and go with great regularity.
I don't care who any player is, or how good he is. As soon as they make it clear they don't want to be at this great club, a club that we've all pretty much dedicated our lives to, as harsh as it sounds, they're dead to me.
Anything he does for this club now is nothing but an empty gesture, forced upon him by a contract that binds him to the club, which he does not wish to honour.
Fuck him!
Ultimately this is what Paratici will be judged on, we were told that regardless of whatever scenario occurs that he has everything in place. This is where ultimately he will earn our trust if he proves that is indeed the case.
i think this is unfair, because Levy is calling the shots on Kane. If you consider the Serbian lad, Atletico or someone else could come in at the last minute- or Fiorentina could, Levy-style, move the goal posts.
A DoF should be in charge of ALL moves.
We won’t spent the Kane money.
Precisely. Why the hell would we sell him next week, let’s say? If we dont have time to line up any replacements? City fuck us twice over; Take our best player and leave us no time to make a deal for the quality we would need to fill in this gap. If Levy let’s that happen, I’d be surprised. It is the exact opposite of this alleged notion that he wants us challenging for the CL, and is will to invest to make it happen. All evidence to the contrary thus far. And if he lets the aforementioned happen, he is also handicapping our chances by design.Too late to sell now
But the understanding is that Paratici gave the go ahead to be open to selling Kane no? If Paratici hasn't got his house in order then I fully expect him to tell Levy not to sell Kane, the only involvement I believe that Levy has is trying to agree the highest fee, he's taking advice from Paratici on the benefits of moving Kane this window we're led to believe. I don't think Levy can simultaneously be blamed for not being willing to move Kane AND be blamed for if we're not ready should we move Kane on.
Do you think you could go an hour without having a melt down?I can see this ending in tears, if hes gone now we're FUCKED. Wanted him out all window but basically has to stay now by all costs
