Just got home from the game, anyone who wouldn’t want him in our side needs their head wobbled.
He causes absolute chaos. Might not get the goals and assists but our other forwards are light years ahead of those at Wolves and the space it would create for them would be unbelievable.
Best thing about him is the “Bums off seat” factor, every time he got the ball it created a real atmosphere. Massive upgrade on Stevie B in my book.

I was just about to like this post and then you had to compare with Bergwijn, who had another good game yesterday.

Why do we feel a need to tear someone down when praising another? It's needless.

Amongst other good things, Bergwijn produced an unbelieveable bit of skill on that left byline which left 2 or 3 players for dead. He then laid the ball on a plate for Kane who probably should score. The kid has just needed consistent game time and to build his confidence back up.

As far as Traore goes, I wasn't mad about the idea but I do agree that he causes chaos and that with better players around him he could offer a lot. Lennon wasnt the best when it came to a final ball but his electric pace got him in good positions and he made that work to his advantage.

The ITK info suggesting the Kane story is not done is incredibly disappointing. I see absolutely no benefit to us doing business this late in the window and City should have been told to fuck right off.

If we have multiple deals (including a replacement) lined up and ready to go, then there is still an advantage to us doing business at this point.

If we don’t, then there probably isn’t.

You can tell people to fuck off as much as they like. That doesn't mean they will. Trust me, I've been telling most of you to fuck off for ages, BUT YOU'RE ALL STILL HERE AREN'T YOU.

Moriba is one we are looking at. As per the headline from the Mail.

*Edited to 'headline' because I haven't read the actual article.

What position does Moriba play in

central midfield but I think he’s way out of our league… all the top sides in Europe have reportedly enquired about him. It’s also concerning that his apparent reason for wanting to leave Barca is purely down to wanting more money than they’re prepared to pay him.

From what I've heard they asked for more money, because of the length of contract Barca wanted to tie him down with.

Moriba has the same birthday as Steffen Freund, Dolly Parton, and me.

On that basis I think he’s probably a top bloke.
Dolly only worked 9 to 5 and considering that all Freund used to say to Ginola was Arbeit / work I hope he has more of a Freund attitude than Dollys

Alasdair Golds latest article:

Traore/ Striker:
Tottenham are expected to try to bring Traore to the club in the final eight days of the transfer window because, without putting too fine a point on it, Espirito Santo loves him.

The other key element in the interest is that Paratici is also a big fan of the player and is understood to have offered more than £50m to Wolves to try to sign him when he was at Juventus.

There has been talk of a loan to buy move and the belief among Espirito Santo and Paratici is that within a team that can boast, on paper, more attacking talent around Traore, his ability to draw two to three players to him because of the fear and the need to doubling up he creates, will create space galore for his team-mates to profit in.

While his arrival would seem to block the path of at least one or two of the other wingers that include Bergwijn, who pulled off a sublime bit of skill before setting up Kane for a big chance in a good performance, Lucas Moura or new signing Bryan Gil, there is also the option mooted within the club that he instead replaces Son's position as a winger in order to push the latter further up the pitch.

That would mean changing the system to a two up front with the South Korean up alongside Kane, in a partnership that brought plenty of success for both last season. Traore is also able to play as a support striker if required through the middle.

With that in mind, football.london understands that it's currently a case of signing Traore or a striker for Tottenham.

Defenders:
Spurs' attempts to bring in another centre-back and right-back are currently being hampered by having so many players in those positions in the squad, with four natural centre-backs, plus two others capable of playing there, and three right-backs.

Ndombele/ Another attacking midfielder:
Further up the pitch, unless Tanguy Ndombele were to get his wish to move, which is currently unlikely due to the fee Spurs would require for their record signing, it's unlikely that another attacking midfielder will be brought in at this stage unless an opportunity that's simply too good to pass up arises in the final days.

Sarr:
Such a deal is the one Tottenham are in advanced talks seal for Metz wonderkid Pape Matar Sarr, with a loan move back to the French club for the season for the 18-year-old.

It's very much a move with the future in mind. The Senegalese teenager is seen as one of the most exciting young prospects in French football and can play in central midfield, or an attacking or defensive role in the middle.

Sarr has plenty of admirers within Spurs and the deal for him is being likened to the one that brought Dele Alli to the club six years ago, loaning him back to ensure not only that Tottenham get one of the top young talents in Europe ahead of others but also to continue his development and education with regular first team football in an environment he is comfortable in.

Aaaand we seem to be down to 1 or 2 directly in. And that is a huge risk we are taking...

Our only hope seems to be we somehow get rid by a miracle of some outcasts.
