Large parts where it was very quiet, surprised given fans haven’t been able to attend matches in a long time.Sounded pretty good on TV for the most part.

Either way... Top of the league!Mate I literally got into a back forth because the moany old ****s behind me were giving him dogs abuse in a game a couple of years ago. I was signing his praises before the game today even!
Standing ovation is a bit ott still. It’s not that deep though.
Not sure if you went to the right football ground then... We're actually playing pretty well, and there was plenty of noise for a Sunday afternoon match against a relegation candidate. I didn't lose my voice like the City game, but there were sufficient renditions of the usual songs. Not going to say we don’t deserve to be top, it hasn’t exactly been pretty but winning when are not playing well is a good habit to get into. That said lot of work to be done especially in midfield. Don’t think Kane is fully fit yet.
One thing as I said at half time disappointed the the crowd inside the stadium, very quiet which is a shame. The crow at the massive new stadium could be such an asset, the place holds the sound and can be very intimidating to opponents, but the fans have to our part.
Don’t want to see any form of Highbury the library at our ground thank you very much.

Same here. First game since lockdown. Glad I had sunglasses on..I defo welled up when I saw the stadium againDespite being a season ticket holder for over 10 years To day was my first home game in nearly two years. Various reasons I haven’t been prior to lock down.. anyway on the walk up to ground from seven sisters started to feel quite emotional. Didn’t expect it to be honest but suddenly hit me how much I missed this place and Was so happy to be finally going back Home!
I never thought Dier and Sanchez were bad defenders, just not good enough to invite pressure all game and hold out due to the likelihood of an error or two at some stage.
No it wasn't. They were both poor for a long time before Jose. I keep seeing this written about different players but it's simply not trueExactly this. And it was all on Mourinho.

So head in sand blame Jose. Ok cool ?I think it's fair to say that Mourinho's tenure exacerbated any negative tendency these players might have had. They declined under him.
Whether they were good before is up for debate but they got worse during Jose's time.
Genuinely believe inviting teams onto us after we took the lead (no matter how early we scored) put too much pressure on the defence and they just cracked more often than not.
With Skipp as added protection in front and Tanganga proving he isn't easy to get past, plus not being camped on the edge of our box for 90 minutes we look so much more assured.
