How f****** supine they are!

Here's what I'd ask the PL:

"If you had a consortium headed by Iran's Ayatollah Khamenei, would he pass your fit and proper person test?"
In football these days, it wouldn't be a surprise whoever managed to pass the test. I still can't see how the country doesn't defacto own the club. The PL were only ever worried about the TV piracy because money is the only factor that concerns them. That's why all the moral indignation over the proposed ESL was totally hypocritical. It was never about the fans, it was about the PL protecting its interests.

May I suggest…

To the tune of Bread of Heaven:

When’s the stoning?
When’s the stoning?
When’s the stoning On the half way line?

Or to the tune of Sloop John B

There’s blood on your hands
There’s blood on your hands
You’ve sold your souls
There’s blood on your hands.
The Newcastle-Man City game will now be known as the Middle-Eastern Derby.

Its one thing having the money, but try to get the footballers & their wives to settle in the NE of England will be another thing.

They won't be living in the slums of Newcastle, mate. Even a town like Newcastle has some very posh parts, and a short car ride will take you out to the surrounding countryside where there are plenty of swanky pads, nicely insulated from the unwashed masses.

Just did a quick search on Rightmove. POA but less than £5m:

You've got to remember that the rich don't play in the same class as you or I - it's a completely different world.

Sad day for football and a sad day for clubs like Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool (maybe even Man Utd). Newcastle will buy their way to the top in a season or two and clubs like ours will be pushed further down the league table.

This may be optimistic, but I think the chairmen of Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs have the ability and influence to do something really profound to the game, by laying the groundwork for something better- (I guess the ultimate aim is 50+1 owernship) by using their influence to bring forth long lasting changes to the game that is of the benefit of the clubs they own, the game , clubs in the football league and beyond.. as well as more importantly the fans.

My worry is that all three will be blind to that and try to use any means possible to be on the same playing field as the Qatari's, Saudis and Mr Abramovich. We saw it with the ESL and all three will be pressurised to be competitive. If Levy wants a long lasting legacy, he would get it if he took the fight to these clubs. Fight it, not join them. Make something better.

It's amazing how every fucking change of managers, coaches, interims, owners always came right before having a game with us. FFS

Our away fans tend to be a vocal bunch so I really do hope they get together and orchestrate something in the away end next weekend.

Even though I bet the Sky cameras will refuse or be told not to show it.

They are probably putting in a name change to Saudi Sports Network right now.

Good luck to them give it a few seasons and they will be a force.
No.

Not good luck to them.

Never, ever, ever good luck to them.

Every state takeover of a club is another hammer blow that will eventually lead to the death of top level football.

Some good news though, we won’t have to listen to their constantly boring moaning about Mike Ashley.

...and we won't have to look at that fat, horrible, Tottenham-hating scrote any more either. That's our big prize out of all this.

Well I am referring to the possibility that Newcastle fans will more than likely see a successful club in a few years.
It's probably a hammer blow for clubs like us I agree as this would take us back a bit further again, but for fans of city and Chelsea they don't seem to worried.
