Lol there's all these rules but one fo them is to allow racing director to basically do and say what he wants!!!

It definitely wont. This was always going to the courts either way after Masi rigged it. But had it been overturned, RB wouldnt have had a leg to stand on. Mercedes, on the other hand, do. And then some.

His job is untenable, allowed himself to get swayed by Horner which resulted in the farce we saw at the end.

Total disregard for sportsmanship.

If a decision has made not in line with the own rules - then what is the reason for not reversing that decision? This isnt like a VAR decision where we wouldnt know th eoutcome if the decision was corretcly made et c

This one however, surely if the correct decision was made we would know the outcome anyways - so not sure how they think they can get away with not following their own rules

Slippery slope they have set now, any time next season or ones after they have this they will now be expected to do the same as not follow their own rules fully.

As one of the points is the racing director can use his discretion

That article 15.3 ,that gives race director power to do anything with safety cars, makes even going to arbitration pointless. We can have Netflix finishes every year with it.

Came across this comment on Youtube, so true ?

If the race director is allowed THIS MUCH discretion then the rules aren't worth the paper they are written on! If this carries on then the only race in F1 will be the race about who can convince the race director to take their side the quickest in any future incidents. F1 shot themselves in the foot ..... follow your own rules

So Merc suggested the race result be based on positions at the end of lap 57.
FIA stewards rejected because that would be an incomplete race.
As for the SC and unlapping of selected cars, that’s because the rule a few people have posted is effectively over-ruled by the subsequent rule.

This years title win means literally nothing now, FIA have completely tarnished it.
Everybody knows.

It’s got nothing to do with who won, rather how it was won.

The real crime is that it will likely never be that close again, and what we’ve witnessed is a pathetic ending to a fantastic seasons racing.
