Amazing performance, body on the line stuff, the Conte effect.

Liverpool are the last team you want to play after not having played for 2 weeks.

Ndoms should be playing cm not the right hand side. Winks may have been working hard and goofing it forward but he’s giving them chance after chance with how slow or how clever he’s trying to be. He needs to be gone as well as one gear dele.

Haha. What match are you watching?
This is nothing more than disingenuous.

That was just a fantastic half of football. I could easily be 3-3, were it not for Son's wayward finishing and our sturdy defending.

I did Dele a disservice earlier: his "miss" was on target and was a fine save. He's been working hard and he's been good.

Two completely different styles, but good pressing from both teams. Liverpool's defence is visibly weak today because of VVD's absence and our makeshift midfield is just about coping because of Henderson's absence. Unquestionably, Liverpool are superior overall, but Conte has the side set out to exploit today's unusual conditions and they've done OK.

Sessegnon is looking like a proper footballer at last, after a couple of years of hesitancy and injury. Conte could be the making of him. Sanchez has made multiple clearances under pressure. Ndombele has made a goal and nearly cost us a goal. Son has got into all the right positions, but still waits too long to shoot. Winks is being the conservative anchorman and has been competent thus far.

Never mind their attackers, I think Liverpool have the best pair of fullbacks I have seen in nearly 50 years of watching football.
It’s what Dele needs, hard work, focusing on upping his game and getting back to finding the talent he definitely has. He only has one career and needs to go for it.

Was it an awful miss by dele or a world class save? Don't think you can have both
World class save. 9/10 keepers in the league don't get near it let alone save it. Can't really dig Dele out for that, it would have nestled just inside the post.

what a great effort from this side, with nobody's first choice midfielders in. we will get more chances, if we're more clinical then who knows.

very proud of the effort and application so far.

On clear chances we should beat least 3 up.
Our defending is a bit last ditch
effective so far
but some very aimless balls out of defence.
But we've stuck at it, everybody working
but win, lose or draw all still on.

We will almost certainly rue those missed chances, we are Spurs after all!
But if the inevitable happens I will still be encouraged by what I’ve already seen today, desire, commitment, creating chances and most important of all, enjoying watch Spurs play again ?

Tanganga on for royal , he worries me getting a second yellow.

Ndombele blowing, maybe he will not last too long.

Moura on running at their suspect backline might be an option.

Winks needs to be sold in Jan. he’s either trying to pas through someone’s legs, taking extra touches or is just too slow in possession. Yeh he’s made a few decent hoofs forward but it’s only a matter of time he gives a goal away with how slow he is.

Very harsh I think he’s done well

Defoe was saying he had enough time to look at the keeper and reverse the shot. But anyway dele is playing well
