Yep they have an owner that cares.Lucky Chelsea.

Light years behind the top 3 clubs.
Need 2 CB's, 2 CM's, 1 winger and a Striker.
And all need to be top class.
That is a loss born out of terrible squad management and recruitment.
We've been absolutely slapped by a Chelsea reserve team with 2 players out.
Tuchel got one over Conte but our manager's options are limited.
Kane and Son were visibly knackered are both seemingly unable to sprint all game. You can't win at this level at half pace. We have no backup striker and our senior attacking option is Bergwijn who is constantly injured and a wantaway Dele.
We're playing Doherty at LWB because Sessegnon is constantly injured.
Tanganga has had a shocker, the defence all over the place after losing Dier to covid.
Ndombele looked handy for 10 mins then clearly could not be bothered.
That game should be ringing alarm bells with Levy and Paratici. Serious investment is needed.
The worst thing is when you look at our signings since the stadium is built and how much money has been wasted on dross.
That’s the spirit!2-0 is a dangerous score. Chelsea won’t be able to help thinking they’re already in the final. Full house , White Hart Lane, big atmosphere and an early Spurs goal , first 20 minutes and they’ll find it difficult to get back mentally.
I think our names on the cup. Not joking.
It's happy clappers like you that hold the club back from making the tough decisions they have too
Yep they have an owner that cares.
I assume I'm missing the context there...

They have an owner that was allowed to launder dirty money on a vast scale.
Yay football!
Yep one owner spend money to enjoy football and the other invested our money to build their fortune. No morals there. They have an owner that was allowed to launder dirty money on a vast scale.

Not our finest hour(and a half) to be sure but that’s our 6th game in 17 days and most of that starting live up have played in all of them. The games are starting to catch up with many of them.Nevertheless it’s very disappointing that we continue to reserve our worst performances for big games against the likes of Chelsea (especially Chelsea)
I feel that with the games coming fast and furious that even Conte in the last 3 games especially is finding in hard to cope. Changes needed to be made early in the first half when it was obvious our 3-4-3 was being overrun by their 4-3-3. I also felt Conte failed to make adjustments/substitutions early enough in the last 3 games.
I don’t feel he has made the best use of the squad we have over this hectic period even if he had some reservations about some players. Having stating that Rondon was Dier’s back up why not play him instead disrupting the back line with 2 positional changes.
If Tuchel can use wingers like Hudson O and Pusilic as WBs why can’t he use Gil as a WB instead of using Doherty on his wrong side and running Emerson into the ground. Sess picked up an injury at the worst possible time. In the brief cameos he’s had Gil had looked bright and he could have also been used to give Son or Lucas a rest. Winks, Lo Celso and NDombele could have had more minutes lately in order to give more rest to Skipp and Hoijbjerg.
Players should get a rest at the weekend against, my home town, Morecambe but straight after that we have Chelsea(H), Arsenal(H) and Chelsea (A) followed by whoever we get the the 4th Round of the FA Cup. That’s tough month after a tough December and unless we get some replacements in soon or make better use of the squad we risk the burn out of too many starters.
Despite all that and Chelsea’s complete control, especially in the first half, they never really troubled Lloris with both their goals being gift wrapped OGs. It’s half time and we are 2-0 down at home. We need to recharge our Batteries(Conte included) and come out up for the fight next week. This is when Conte has to earn his money and the players prove they have the big game mentality(Kane especially).
As long as it wasn't Stevie wonders version of happy birthdayLike boris when he said to sing happy birthday and wash your hands, people should now repeat to themselves “Conte told me we are shit right now but to be patient and everything will be ok”
I trust Conte, but I think he's stubborn in his selections and who he "trusts."
The Skipp/PEH midfield *just doesn't work* against high-quality opposition. When we have the ball, they don't possess the requisite skill or endeavor to move through the lines; and without the ball, we were entirely overrun. Chelski always had a spare man and sliced us apart time and again. No wonder our defense shit the bed -- they were under constant pressure.
I understand all the calls for a new CB and a new RWB, etc. But for me, our top top TOP priority should be a highly skillful CM who can break the lines -- see my avatar.
Very astute assessment all round there - in particular Conte being at fault for lack of tactical/substitutional changes when needed in the last three games. Of course its still early days in his tenure, and he's just working with what he has inherited, so can't be too critical of him at this stage.
Yet almost everybody on here also thinks that playing PEH and Skipp together is not working and that we should use other midfielders.Because he has won top honors everywhere he's gone and knows what he's doing.
