Fair points mate. There is some talent there that maybe we forget about because of his attitude and effort but I'd argue that he's not particularly effective.
This is a great point. I can't remember if it was last season or the season before, but there was was a stat that showed our win rate was significantly worse whenever he played compared to when he didn't.

And that was when, compared to now, he was actually playing quite well and pulling off his mazy dribbles and weird-angled passes.

For all his talent, other than the very occasional assist or goal he rarely seemed to have an especially positive effect on the team - his shortcomings off the ball let us down more than his talent actually helped us.

Need to get rid ASAP.

Once Levy gets back go will sit down with Tang for one of their fireside chats. Tang will tell him how he came from the ghettos of Paris, Levy will counter with his difficult A level choice story and pass him another marshmallow.

#sorted.

Much like Nuno after that Moura sub, I think his position at the club is untenable now.

Ridiculously talented footballer wasting his career with an awful attitude. Such a shame.

I hope the club pays more attention to the mental side of players in their scouting now. Very expensive lesson to learn.

I there any possibility to have my 336dislikes back from calling him McDombele and giving him shit for 3 years? The one that took the decision to get this guy in should never have ant say in any kind of transfer again. All big clubs that were interested in signing him didn't want to gamble on him because of his history of being lazy and having an attitude problem, that's official information.

Worst player ever in a Tottenham shirt, not from a footballing side but most disrespectful. Has been coming back fat after every summer and does not run a meter if he doesn't see the ball. FUCK OFF TANGUY!

What I don’t understand is how this attitude wasn’t something that was flagged as a serious issue before we parted with north of 50m quid for him. It’s bizarre.

I really hope the club is investing a lot of money into our scouting and recruitment because, Christ, we’ve spent some serious cash on shite over the past few years.

That's what I was saying a few weeks ago.

Its such a massive oversight it's kind of inexplicable.

I expect these types of lads are, but there's lots of stories about how scouts make claims about players like Ibra or Suarez that they aren't cut out for it, but they turn out to be unfounded.

Main issue was that Poch had a bit of a rager for him, and had just got to a CL final (albeit in somewhat unconvincing form), so the club decided to back him. I imagine it wasn't exactly a good time to be questioning things, with Poch (reportedly) being in a funny mood. So early in the window, they blow the lot on Ndombele.

It's one of those that could have been a masterstroke, and could have been a disaster. There's been plenty of examples like this in the last couple of decades, from David Bentley, to Paulinho. It's great being disconnected enough from the process that we, as fans, can apply retrospective and say that we shouldn't have bought him, but he could have been a "what if" player. Probably is, in another timeline.

All between the ears with this one. Really sad. Good thing is wages probably aren’t an issue any more because he clearly is as ready to leave as we are to move him.
