F this for a game of soldiers! Pisses me off all of this slow crap! Get the F’ng thing done FFS. Why am I saying this? We are well short upfront especially right now. And we are dragging this Traoré desk painfully. FEIW, I expect it to get done.
From my understanding it's not us or Wolves dragging it mate. Was told last night we are starting to lose patience.

Apologies all, an all too rare post from me, more long time lurker of 15 years or so now.

Despite Conte wanting a LCB, a RWB and a forward option, surely the priority, the absolutely no contest, non-negotiable target this window has to be cover for Kane?
I'm sorry but what other professional football club in the entire world only has one recognised centre-forward on their books?
Yes, 'its difficult' (and god, how many times have we heard that under ENIC?) but for crying out loud. Despite Kane playing like he's had covid since September, we are a Kane injury away from finishing 8th or 9th. Time and time again, we've been left short. I just dont buy the 'oh who wants to come sit on the bench' scenario because it happens at every other football club.

*Doesn't insert wavey gif that will get him banned*

I can understand Traore filling in for Son and competing with Moura, but I hope the fact that he is a nominal “forward” is not laying the groundwork for him to be presented as our cover for Kane this window.

We need a CF.

Yeah it does feel like there's complications behind the scenes with Traore.

On the surface you'd of thought this was a very straightforward deal, and couple that with the Son injury and you'd expect him to be signed by now.

Disappointing if he's not in for Sunday.

The complications are probably just wolves fannying about trying to sort their new signings before letting him go. But their spending this window is entirely reliant on them selling him, so if we threaten to walk it will hurry them up and get it done.

Both sides want it to happen so surely it will? (he says while knowing our history of cocking up transfers…)

He makes sense on a free rather than a transfer because his resale value will be next to none. But would still be a real shame not to have him for the run in.

Fingers crossed we could do a Holtby situation if we agree a summer move.

Not having a dig at you bud. Posts like this always baffle me.

SC : "That fucking bald, dwarf **** Levy isn't interested in winning anything & only cares about how much he can sell a player for"...

Also SC : "Not sure we should look to sign X because he'll have no resale value when his contract is up".

Strange bunch! ?‍♂️

I hope it’s Mendes dragging his feet rather than Traore getting cold feet.

Yeah I assume Mendes is whoring him out to get maximum return. Obviously with the window still open it makes sense from his point of view to see if there are other suitors that may line his pockets more than us.
