Not one Summer does a swallow make.

I rather we have a clear plan and do things properly getting the right players in and out.

If that means losing something from this season in order to be stronger going forward then so be it.
If I had £1 every time someone Tottenham related used this excuse I’d be as rich as Joe Lewis and could afford a poncey expensive painting.

The time is now to act, not right off another season.

How do you know progress hasn't been made? By all accounts a deal is very close with Traore from what we're led to believe.

I don't really care about Newcastle signing Trippier and Wood. Nor Villa signing Coutinho and Digne. (Both of course, cash rich clubs too).

12th Jan. Please be calm.
Also Wood is a release clause so its not a negotiation and Digne has been outcast by Benitez so very simple deals to do.

It's frustrating because it "appears" to be the same old shit APPEARS

We can blame Mendes all we want but if we offered the £20/22m suggested he'd be a spurs player now. I'm sorry but too many familiarities that this is down to Spurs yet again.

Of course I dont know the insides of this, nobody probably does but its a recurring theme with Spurs and Levy.

@DiMarzio
: “Rudiger is in talks with Juventus, Man City, Tottenham and PSG, he will join one of those four clubs”.

Di Marzio saying we are one of four clubs in talks with Rudiger.

According to the aggra's,

Di Marzio saying we are one of four clubs in talks with Rudiger.

They have been consistent with that for a long time. I fully suspect he'll end up at Madrid however.

Edit - this looks silly now the full quote had been added. Still wouldn't rule out RM though.

Of course if we straight up paid what wolves wanted he would be our player and thank god we don’t do that. I can’t see a single reason why trying to negotiate a lower transfer fee or a smarter transfer structure is a bad thing. Wouldn’t be a single bit surprised if we try to get him on an initial loan with an option to buy.

If you don't know the insides, why do you not listen to those who do?

The Rudiger links make no sense on any level. We wont pay the astronomical terms he's after, he's Chelsea, he has a pick of the top, top clubs that will pay his terms. Thats not even taking in to account the history we have with him.

Just bait adding us in to get the reactions from football Twitter etc.

Loving the patience being showed in here that Antonio asked us to have :cautious:
It is funny though how Conte goes on about patience, which he is know to not have himself :p

you can understand fans frustration though as we keep hearing patience and the rebuild is not done in one window, althoug we have heard this since we bought Ndombele and Lo Celso, and now they are not wanted by most fans.

so you see there is no thing as rebuild, as the players you buy might not work out, that is why you need to be competitive in "every window" especially now that so many PL clubs are owned by big guns that shows ambitions and spew money into transfers.

it is either follow up and invest or fall behind and become mid table, and this can happen fast!
