You have to trust the club know what they're doing and have clarity on the big picture.

If we sign Traore on loan and because of that he misses NLD but it allows us to sign a significant upgrade jan 31st we otherwise wouldn't be able to afford who can contribute to the remaining 18 games then I'd argue it's worth waiting.

Personally I have to trust that Paratici and Conte are signing players for the long term and so I believe the squad will reflect that come the end of January which may leave some underwhelmed but ultimately I have faith in their vision.
To be honest I think that trust will have to be earned all over again with all due respect, the clusterf*** mess I think Levy has made of things since the Champions League final, fans have every right to be skeptics.

I think the fact that Conte is known to walk if things don't go his way have essentially heightened peoples fears for this window.

I've been a St holder for over 20 years. I almost didn't renew. At present, I will. However, it feels like last chance saloon. If we fail with conte, then I'm not sure there is any way forward.

The timeline that happens every January transfer window seems to be happening again.
Lots of optimism, and names being mentioned ,followed shortly by delays then finally looking into next transfer window for players as to hard this window. Aswell as the usual we can cope with the squad we have and plenty of options for Kane back up excuses coming out from the club/ manager.
Only thing keeping me positive is the info we get from all the ITK''s doing a sterling job as usual.
Yeah absolutely, it’s not like we are struggling to beat Morecambe with our World class midfield.

Sure Levy and Lewis obviously not watching our matches while in Bahamas. Bit of a coincidence Levy goes on a business trip during the January transfer window.
The usual shit transfer window i suspect everytime i fall into the trap that it has changed, i will never learn.

The transfer window really bring out the worst in our fans and this forum sometimes. We've had just under two weeks of constant negativity, doom and gloom and catastrophising at even the slightest bit of (often unsubstantiated) negative news.

Those same people are the same that will turn around and criticise our players at the drop of a hat for having a weak mentality and giving up too easily and completely fail to see the irony.

Yes, signings as soon as possible would be ideal, but we've been told Conte himself is essentially planning for next season... can't we just exercise a bit of patience?

If it gets to January 31st and it is indeed the same old story, i'll be as vocal in criticising the club as anybody else but I truly don't see the point in fretting until that's the case.

Fuck off.

Fuck off.
I've tried my best to be patient but Spurs have beaten it out of me again. The usual timeline of events happening, i'm not going to kid myself things will change. Levy and Lewis obviously not watching the shit show are players are putting on lately.
Anyhoo coys put egg on my face tonight and give me the perfect birthday gift tonight?

Can we save the meltdown until Conte actually leaves over transfer issues?

In the event that happens, and we truly haven’t backed him, then burn it to the ground!

Until then, why don’t we all try to enjoy the ride of having a top-5 manager in the building who is, from all accounts, on board with the project?!

Even Jamie redknapp already saying conte doesn’t wanna be competing for top 6. He wants to challenge the best teams. If this gets embarrassing tonight. I fear for him in the summer with united

I'm in meltdown but wow! Dude he knew the task at hand he knew we was gonna take time to be where he thinks we should be. My only concern is he left Inter because they wouldn't back him and I'm sooo surprised we've not acted quick in getting him reinforcements

If Conte runs for the exit, I’m going to strap him to N’Dombele, should slow him down a bit and allow the bean counter to rummage around the back of the sofa for an extra 50p to get things over the line.

Yes I am too. The longer it goes on the media drive will be we’re not supporting him etc
