Actually he wanted Frenkie DenJong and refused to sign others. He went for Ndombele when we didn't get De Jong. Nice try though

Really poor if this doesn't get done as it indicates that the reason we're not spending is because we don't have enough ambition rather than there being more of a plan for the summer. Of course there will be people that will try to justify it by saying maybe the money is being spent on Diaz, until that one doesn't happen either. Manager wants him, he wants to come, he's available for a good price, he improves us instantly. This has got Grealish all over it, just get it done ffs.

I think this is an excellent idea, like having the Grandchildren around for the afternoon, knowing that if they start to become a pain you can hand them back to the parents.

Would be interesting to see what the Pikey fans thought of Bowen when he was brought in from Hull? A great team is made up of the sum of it's parts, not an individual player even when talking about Messi, or Ronaldo.

Just to add, didn't ITK indicate in the summer that if Kane stayed it could be one of Martinez or Vlahovic and if he (Kane) went we could get both? Apologies if I'm not remembering correctly?

If we need to sell to buy a circa £20-25m player then we're in big trouble and Conte won't be here long. If we can't do deals like this then there is no point bringing in Conte.

Well his first season with them they didn't own him he was on loan. I think it was herc that mentioned them sending dvds but a quick link didn't bring it up.Lol, we tried to sign Ndombele 2 summers running because they wouldn't sell first season. Nice try though

Summary from Fabrizio youtube live with MattHayes
- Luis Diaz bid was a serious Face to Face meeting yday
- Initial stance is 60-65M Euros from Porto, they have communicated first bid not acceptable so we need to come back to the table
- No issues from the player to come to us , reports saying the contrary false
- Lines of communication still open, Porto will not allow it to go to deadline day has to be this week if happens
- Outgoings in general is going to really help Spurs incomings
- Abracadabra pretty much done deal, but we need outgoings sorted first
- Adama basically still working on numbers, seemed confident over the weekend not sure why its gone a little quiet, we wont pay 25/27M.... no issues on personal terms with adama
- Tangoo PSG will pay full wages 6 month loan, key element in discussion now would be the buy option fee
- Valencia defo interest in Tangoo but decison upto the player, they would seem to pay full wages for 6 months... key preference for PSG
- Gini not involved in swap deal or Draxler, probably was mentioned during discussion but just that its normal to explore all possible options, but as it stands no swapies here
- Dele all the clubs mentioned in press yday there is interest, all will need to pay full wages, no more info than yday, but he expects Dele to leave this window
