So, per Ali Gold, we are more optimistic to get the Diaz deal done than Traore?

Bit of a random video from him but was going to reiterate this. Growing hope that this will get done and this is their priority. At the moment more hopeful than Traore deal.
Seriously we should go in for Dest, Aarons or Lamptey. Traore is really not worth the never ending migraine that is Jorge Mendes in a transfer window.

He released a new video today?
Literally 5/10mins ago. First thing he discusses is Diaz. Thinks the funds will go into DIaz and may hold off Traore deal and go with Emerson/Doc until end of window because of this massive opportunity. He said the club are absolutely fuming this news on Diaz has leaked.

I don't think we get the Diaz deal done, and if that is more promising than Traore, its going to be a frustrating window.

This will probably be hugely unpopular, but i think Traore is a more pressing need. Not to say I’d turn down a player of Diaz’s quality of course. I’m a huge huge fan of the player. If it’s one or the other, Diaz is superior, but I’m more confident in Lucas/Bergwijn up front than Emerson (still acclimating to a new role) or Doherty (I don’t really know what to say) at RWB. Would be happy that Emerson continues to get chances, but not sure he’s up to the role yet.
Edit: after further thought, I actually think I’d prefer Diaz. The quality is just so high

Tbh i woudnt then be too upset with Emerson rwb from a defensive perspective because IF Diaz joins you should have enough creativity and goals when everyone is fit.
I also dont think Traore would come in and be an immediate rwb regular. He'd likely play there against lesser teams anyway.
