He apologises to the fans and says he can’t just keep picking up his salary when he feels he can’t fix things.

There’s no other way to read it. He wants out.

He’s always loopy after a loss. Get used to it. He can’t control his speech and shoots from the hip.

He’ll be fine by the Friday press conference.

BREAKING NEWS: Conte is talking about leaving. Not happy with his salary. Not happy with Levy. Not happy with the results. Reporter: "Are you speaking about resigning Antonio?" Conte: "I'm finished. Finished." He then got up and walked out of the press conference.

That true???

I really hope that’s the case. Sound of that is that he’s ready to jack it in. Straight from the horses mouth with no mis-translation as well. Massive concern.
I mean you could be right mate as Conte is volatile and he won’t want to be at a club that is so so far away from winning but I just really don’t think he will give up I think there will just be stronger conversations about a massive re-build this summer to get the squad he wants.

No CL and Kane situ is an issue tho as if Kane left then yea I can see conte walking.

He’s gone from I love working here to maybe I’m not right for this job hella fast.

silly comment to make after a game, we could finish 7/8th and go under the radar until next season, stupid comments like this don’t help

Anyone like his reaction? I mean it's not acceptable is it? Can't keep happening can it?

Actually looking forward to him leaving if we have to go through this shit after every bad result.

We’ve got at least 9 bad results left to come this season. Just wait until Boro slap us 2-0

He’s clearly screaming out to be seriously backed in the summer.

I just can’t see this ending well at all. We need so much improvement & I don’t see it happening in one window.

Talk about a meltdown.

On Saturday he said it was the best group of players he worked with ?

He's just passionate.

I think you’re right mate.

It’s very Conte.

I have Italian family who are mad about football and they’re the same, very passionate emotional honest volatile people but also very determined, I don’t think he will give up and as you say I think he’ll be fine by next presser.

If he walks from this job now I would be surprised if another top club in England gives him a job again (he might be fine with that). United certainly won’t. If they weren’t convinced before then this is confirming their suspicions.

He is clearly a very passionate man, who always talks from the heart. So I don’t think we will see him just up and walk out before the end of the season. However I do think this is extremely worrying, he sounds like he feels he is doing his own reputation damage here at spurs.

I'm hoping he's being a bit too emotional after the game and is just seeking the backing of the higher ups (which he should get).

He's spoken about honesty and the need for patience himself many times before. Might have calmed down by the morning.

It's clear he is getting some of his ideas over to the team. It's always going to be hard joining a team mid season.

The guy needs to sort himself out. It’s pathetic. He needs to think how we feel. I’m 40 this year and put up with this circus for 32 years.

As if our Club is not a big enough circus.. If he quit it would be the final straw for me.. Fucked off with how the Club is run.
