Not for the first half of the season maybe!
I don't know if they'd have played in a way that suits him, but certainly going by what evidence we have, they still don't have a siege mentality, and Kane also hasn't (unfortunately) shown much use in turning up for such scenarios for club or country.

Take away all emotion out if it, and speaking pragmatically - when has he made a difference in a semi-final or final? That's part of the cause in the first place really, I'm afraid.
