Defending organised and deep with good ball-carrying forwards who can test their high line seems to be a ticket to success against liverpool now.. but unfortunately the number of teams with high enough quality forwards is pretty low..

I get that this is a ridiculous thing to say about a team who’ve won two trophies this season, finished 2nd in the league and reached the UCL final… but I can really see the wheels beginning to fall off the bus for Liverpool next season.

I’m not sure the wheels are coming off but loosing Mane and Salah starting to age will damage them massively. One can’t overestimate how good those two have been over the last few seasons. It’s not going to be that’s easy to replace them. Diaz looks a good it’s true, but not on that level yet.

I’ve got an insufferable clod I work with who’s been spouting “best all time club” nonsense for months and months. He never fails to dig the Spurs every chance he gets. I’ll be ready with some payback next time we speak! Of the joy of knowing that wanker is crying in his pint!
