But a twist would be the rumour that dybala and lukaku are going inter so now there is an opportunity for martinez for instance. Or the now reported pau torres deal with gio is a twist too.
It's not conducive to a well flowing ITK thread, as my last paragraph examples.

Just Inter being very opera-soap like. Nothing straight forward with them. Best way to put this. If you do a deal. Run for your life with your acquisition. Nothing is done with them, until it is too late to change.

I'm not too worried about Inter's games if that's what they are playing. Am pretty confident we have other plates spinning/other options. Conte is clearly being backed and any holdups in transfer negotiations are down to players willingness to leave/finances and politics at these clubs. Not at all down to us - we are clearly offering the right wage packages/fronting the required transfer funds up.
If you asked me 3 years ago if we would be going toe to toe with the elite clubs of Europe to sign players of this calibre I wouldn't have believed you. We aren't the only game in town, but we are clearly at the top table now at the wedding reception.
