If he'd say my client has a contract and he's happy to stay then fair enough, but he quite literally said he's definitely staying at Inter. Following a meeting with the board who would have told him that there was a chance they'd need to sell to raise money if that was the case.
Can't believe people are even vaguely suggesting this isn't dead in the water now

There are levels to it though. I think that is too definitive and would really be throwing Inter under the bus were they to sell now.

Whilst to be honest, I wouldn't blame Paratici for moving onto another target, the way the agent spoke, talking about respecting contracts, talking about Bastoni being happy to stay. I've seen that happen a thousand times with agents, their job is to make their client look good and get them the best deal. Bastoni loves Inter, I'm sure he would be happy to stay and I'm sure if Inter are forcing him out the door he doesn't want to look like the bad guy. It actually reflects everything we have been told for weeks and personally I don't think this is a closed matter.
