I’m very excited with this signing.

I didn’t think we’d go in for him but he can be a monster in the middle of the park.

I agree. If anyone thinks that Daniel Levy, one of the most risk averse football owners out there, hasn't done his homework on this then I would be astounded. I suspect we will address it in the official statement if and when he signs because we will have to really. I think people need to have a bit more faith in our football club.
I can’t see the club saying anything about in the signing statement. But I expect there will be some kind of unofficial statement given to the usual suspects like Ally and Eccleshare.

Literally Blue and Yellow the window we signed Parker, nothing else really comes close tbh.
For me, this is different. We've a top class manager who has got excellent short-term results. He knows what it takes to win and isn't sitting back.

Perisic, Forster, Bissouma and others we're being linked to are an excellent mix of players from subs to players who will make an impact straightaway.

It wasn't long ago that ITK believed we weren't interested. As a player he seems like the perfect fit for us.

Investigation worries aside, does anybody have any worries about the amount of cards he gets? I haven't watched him properly but seeing the cards stats is a bit of a flag, or do you think he is unlucky or as he's still young?
I think he’s a midfielder that due to his role, style and position will naturally pick up cards aka Romero

He is being investigated. It’s not like his name has been plucked from the sky in connection with the case ?
Not even convinced that is the case. The allegation itself is under investigation, he's at the moment a person of interest to that investigation but that doesn't mean he's being investigated himself for committing the actual alleged offence. Could be a whole number of reasons he's still part of the investigation. The fact he's no longer on bail but someone else is, has to be a positive IMO.

I don't think the police or BHAFC have ever officially named Bissouma as the person under investigation (the police have only said that it is "a man in his twenties", and BHAFC have only said they are aware that "one of [their] players is assisting police in their investigations").

As the matter is currently the subject of a legal process, I don't think it would be advisable for the club to make any official statement about it.

The other part that people ignore and I said this in Jan, The club will be privvy to significantly more information than we are and I think we're doing a disservice to those in charge of the club that they would ever dare risk our reputation by signing a player they hadn't done their due diligence on. We have signed players in the past who were embroiled in situations such as Aurier and the club did not shy away from it and addressed it directly.

Think we might have got passed the painful rebuild phase. Very impressed with the whole club atm, such a difference from 12 months ago. Obviously we haven't got these players yet, but how were acting as a club is ambitious. If we can get these deals done, I'm hoping we spend the end of the transfer window getting Conte and Kane tied down to long deals. COYS

Compared some stats from Fbref against some of the league's top DM's. I really think he's gonna be a superstar for us.

Funny thing is, whilst we’re really making waves in the transfer market, we’re doing it without spending big money (so far). Forster, Perisic, Eriksen (if he comes) are all free transfers. Bissouma is only £22.5M reportedly. Spence will be less than £20M. Turns out all we needed was a world class manager, a football man doing the deals and ambition.
It’s a simple game ;)
