In all seriousness I think Arteta is quite creative in the way he is trying to delivery messages and motivate the team from what I've seen so far, he seems for example far more likeable and less weird than Jose was/did in our AON docco. That being said I completely agree that at times he's almost being too nice and whilst of course they respect him because he's worked under Pep and was a very good player, if results aren't going their way I think at times he will lose the squads respect a bit whereas compared to our Conte I think when the chips are down our players will never not respect Conte and will likely keep believing in him. That drawing is hilarious. There's too much nicey nicey about it too.
Like you see it in one of those office meetings that encourages positive vibes or at an infant's school.
That isn't going to help young players build character, they need to be shocked a bit or have the belief put into them with a stronger message.
I dunno. I admit that I'm generally someone who wants my boss to be as direct, straightforward and on point as possible but I find his talks mind boggling and largely irrelevant to, you know, actually being a footballer. In all seriousness I think Arteta is quite creative in the way he is trying to delivery messages and motivate the team from what I've seen so far, he seems for example far more likeable and less weird than Jose was/did in our AON docco. Scary thought... imagine how bad that game could have been if they had an inspirational/charismatic coach! ?To be fair he probably Nuno was going to play with no-one in midfield at all so he could say and do what he liked before that game and they were always going to win, the drawings are hilarious though.
Same, only want to watch episode where we beat them and they then know CL qualification is fuckedNo interest whatsoever until the final episode which i'll watch IF they show scenes of the players etc after losing to us.
I'd like to rip Josh Kronke's beard from his face.
I wonder who they’re investigating - Xhaka or the ref?Investigators probing Xhaka booking told of conspiracy involving mafia
EXCLUSIVE BY MATT HUGHES: Sportsmail revealed in June the FA's inquiry into Xhaka's bizarre yellow card for time-wasting last December was passed on to the National Crime Agency.www.dailymail.co.uk
How cringe was the chant to the status quo song rocking all over the world, painful
Arteta draws cartoons for team talks I take back all my praise about their pre season, we will be just fine finishing above then again ?????

I did think there was something there that was missing from our one under Jose - the encouragement, instilling belief and confidence. In all seriousness I think Arteta is quite creative in the way he is trying to delivery messages and motivate the team from what I've seen so far, he seems for example far more likeable and less weird than Jose was/did in our AON docco. It might well be that footballers respond well to nonsensical 'motivational' ted talks but they do come across as very bizarre, not actually very motivational and largely irrelevant. The amount of time he must dedicate himself to these things is also concerning.
Its a weird one because I think Arteta isn't actually doing a bad job but I have to say the clips I've watched so far have not painted him in a very good light.
I think the guardian said he comes off as a bit like a cover teacher. I think that's a good assessment. It just comes across as him playing at the job. Like he’s watched a load of videos on how to be a football manager and he’s just acting that out.
Im finding the episodes pretty boring.
