Release clause is in the summer, I think. We need to find a CB in January if possible.

We missed our chance to sign Jae, hard to imagine we will go back for him at 3x the price.
And Napoli are supposedly planning to renew his contract and ether get rid of or at least significantly up the clause before the current one comes into effect.

Excellent! I appreciate the amount of posts you've been able share with the SC since 2013! It's astounding the amount of posters who could learn a thing or two from you. It's not going to be me but I'm sure you'll find them! Goodluck! ?

Maehle usually plays well for national team, will try to focus on his performance today, although it's risky to sign players based on NT matches. Still I would probably be happier with him than Malinovsky if we are getting someone from Atalanta.

Is it really that unlikely unless the price pushes way past 50m?
I wouldn't be surprised if the reason we didn't go for it at the lower price was we thought it was too big a risk of getting another player that won't improve the starting XI or squad.
If he's available, wants to come, and ticks the boxes, why wouldn't the club do it?

It's a bit ambiguous, could mean central midfielder or could refer to an attacking midfielder, in which case the likes of Zaniolo and Edwards would come into play.

Personally, I suspect we'll be back in for Zaniolo. He was reportedly Conte's top choice for the RWF position in the summer, Ally Gold says we're targeting a Kulusevski backup in January, and he's got 18 months left on his contract which makes it the perfect time for Roma to sell. Just feels like the likeliest option.
And Felix

When you use incorrect language or grammar, is there any downside to being informed of that?

Is it necessary to post often?

I will also have a look at Joachim Andersen

When I was in England earlier this year, my brother took a few days to visit an old friend in Cologne. Went to a match and really liked the look of Ellyes Skhiri, who's a CM - 6 mould. He's started well for Tunisia this match as well and screams a Conte player. I know we're set at CM but wouldn't be surprised to see him in a PL side as he's hitting his peak years. He's wearing the facemask for anyone who wants to watch him throughout this match

You do realise Cologne is not in England, right?

I think he greatly benefits from his own physicality and the league he plays in. He does have a good shot/final ball on him but I don’t think he’s that strong technically and in the PL where everything is faster, more physical and you have less space and time I think again he would struggle. He has talent, for sure and with time and the right management maybe he could do well in the PL but I think it would be a gamble. I know he’s well rated by some, but personally from watching him I wouldn’t want to gamble on him as I don’t think he’s as good as his numbers imply. But like I say, this is my opinion and I know many rate him.
I just want to say I thought this was a great response to a fair question to back up why you thought he was overrated. A considered opinion, no insults insults from either party, either could end up correct only time will tell but two differing opinions without conflict… enjoyable.. well played aha
