Getting an early ish goal, if we score it obviously becomes much easier as wales need to go forward.
its not easy playing against 11 men behind the ball, and not even worried about attacking

We had plenty of space to run in against Iran.
USA and Wales have got bodies behind the ball and we just get congested.

Not sure about that. If you can control a game you're always in with a good chance, especially with a few good set pieces and a world class striker.

I think Iran may be better than Wales going forward but Wales are more organised defensively.
I'm not sure I understand your last sentence? Just because a team aren't very good, it doesn't mean that it must be easy to score against them.
Different game, different day, different opponent. Not all games are comparable in such a simple way as the amount of goals scored in the first half.

Iran didn't have ten players behind the ball all game. There was a bit of space for us to utilize. Wales haven't been out of their half.

No, he's actually looked to pass to Kane a couple of times. Start him every game.

A controlled performance by England but we haven't really looked like scoring. Rashford is either miss-controlling the ball or giving it away with alarming regularity. Henderson doesn't offer enough going forward to get the most out of this game. I'd love to see a trio of Grealish, Foden and Saka playing behind Kane and in front of Bellingham and Rice in midfield.

It's just not his game. He doesn't really know what to do when he's got players blocking his way and he can't receive the ball out wide with his back to goal like say someone like Kulusevski or Saka can.

Wales have to change their game at some point and attack. They have been running ragged chasing england in that first half. If they try and actually attack, their legs will go before the end of the game. That's when saka and steering need to be on.
