But I thought these Qataris loved their football and were so proud to be part of this tournament.
Somebody should tell the fans that because most of them seem to leave as soon as they go a goal down.

I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. At a world cup, pretty much every countries fans will be partying til the whistle, no matter what the result.
Look at the African nations here, even when they lost to the Dutch, the Senegalese fans were dancing and singing to the end.

At first glance, I didnt realise they were empty

I now know why they chose white seats

Its pretty sad, a host nation just turns their back on the team in a do or die match pretty much. I mean I know it happens in all stadia and for all teams but not a world cup which was planned for 12 years and seeing their team for the first time. A joke really

Gakpo looks decent. Would fit our profile I think... I did slate him when I saw him for PSV against Rangers but he finished great there

Wolves almost bought him this summer but the deal fell through. He'll be aiming higher now.

Watching old clips from Italia 90 it felt there like half the games were played in front of swathes of empty seats. Don't think we've had similar at any tournament since before this one.

I know it looks like a Scotland kit but this Ecuador kit would make a nice away kit for us, navy shirts and white shorts.

I love watching Netherlands at world cups but this team does seem to be missing something. Still nice to watch though.

If it wasn’t clear before it’s become obvious now that England and the Netherlands have gotten the easiest draws of the tournament.

Three average to poor teams in the groups and they get each other’s 2nd place team. Will be a big shock if they don’t both go to the quarters at least.
