The right side of the pitch wound be pretty top quality Kulu, Bentancur, Porro, Romero. That’s as good as anything in the league

I might be wrong but didn't City just sell porro to sporting? and didn't they have their own buyback clause put in? If so couldn't they just screw us and bring him in just to not play
I doubt we pose that much of a threat to them!

And what are our realistic chances of signing him?
I’m reading Barca and Real Madrid also want him, he’s Spanish so surely they’re more appealing to him.

Porro seems like the perfect fit if they can get it done and I'd be buzzing if it happened but Porro does have some defensive weaknesses so it'd be interesting to see how it plays out.
To me I actually compare him to Hakimi or Raph Guerrero. Has all the talent, but can he make the step up and produce in the PL with his potential to become a star, or will he stagnate and be an average player with inconsistencies in his game?

Nah I can't believe that. We had numerous SC members scouting reports on him last January declaring he was dog shit.
And i was going to raise him one Jude Bellingham. I'm out of this round.

Not really, as Bentancur is class and you can't buy everyone. He's definitely much better than the SC transfer committee had me believing though. Class act. ?

We never messed up, we went with Bentancur which was fine but for under £10 mil it would have been a great buy. What it shows though is FP knows his players.

One should never judge a player based on the an international competition so personally i don’t feel we messed up at all and my opinion of him hasn’t really changed. He’s had a good competition tho for sure tho so hopefully he gets his move.

As Amrabat dribbles out from the back, using exceptional close control and strength to hold off a number of Portuguese opponents I couldn’t help but be reminded of Dembélé… lovely stuff
