If we can get Porro and Zaniola, I think that leaves us with a much better and more balanced squad in terms of attacking options.

Midfield is okay, so then just leaves us with strengthening at centre back and goal keeper in summer, with Udogie also coming in at left wing back.

Bit concerned about our defence and goalkeeper at present, but doubt we’ll be able to remedy that this January given transfer window soon closing - unless Conte feels Zaniola not being used properly as in his destiny as at centre back! :playful:

Might also want to look at another wing back for both sides and ship current ones out, but that’s far too sensible and forward thinking for spurs lol.

Nah that can’t be right, Nipponyid told me he didn’t want to leave Italy.
Yep that's right, that's always been his preference..

Strange situation as there have been reports in last 24 hrs that Mourinho fancies a third stint at Chelsea. Is that just hinting that he may be off in the summer. I can't imagine Chelsea would have him back but who knows. If any truth though, Zaniolo may decide to bide his time there and hope for a more attack minded coach.
Zaniolo clearly has talent and can understand FP and Conte wanting him as he can break the lines with his powerful dribbling ability, but his form is shocking. Some of that stems from Mourinho tactics but the player has been warned about his attitude by Mourinho and Fonseca at Roma.
Maybe a transfer abroad would be good for him, but i can definitely understand Levy's reluctance to include a permanent transfer on any loan deal.

London to Rome isn't really that far when you've got the sort of money he'll have.
He won't be the first footballer who nips across Europe regularly to see family.

Daily mail saying Smalling has handed in a transfer request. Could that have an impact on Tanganga going there ?
Interesting, he was planning to leave at the end of the season as he has a lots of interest. Roma really dont want him to go tho. This would very much pave the way for Japhet i would think if Smalling goes.

Pretty sure I heard something about him moving to another Serie A club
Yeah Inter wanted to pick him up on a free as his contract runs out in the summer.Juve were also looking but that’s gone out the window now. Surprised Inter would be willing to pay now. Maybe Skriniar is actually going to leave this window (although I can’t see it)

Smelling is a player I could actually see Conte being interested in - no joke
Smalling would be alright for us in that central role on an 18 month contract. Lucas swap would be decent business if we found a move for Tanganga or Sanchez.

Says the Milan offer is still on table

#Zaniolo said no to #Bournemouth and reiterated that he wants #Milan or he will stay at #Roma . #Maldini and #Massara let #Pinto know that their loan offer with obligation linked to #Ucl and attendance is still valid. ?
