How can we show our support for the team, manager and players while also letting levy/Enic and the board know how much contempt and utter disgust we have for the way they have lined their pockets to the detriment of the playing side of the club.
The only thing that will have any effect on the board is when it starts hitting them in the pocket but then again how do we do that without harming the playing side.

I take no joy in being the black sheep, but I thought it was pretty boring but fairly reasonable response from them.

The poster who said they didn't read the room is spot on.

But I'm glad they didn't. I just find a lot of the supporters criticisms (not all tbf) are so over the top. I struggle to relate to them.

I don't want a chairman or spokesperson from the club to sound like a guy down the pub. I want players to be be passionate. Managers to sometimes show passion. But I want stewards of the club to be reasonable and find corporates who try and speak the language of supporters to be pretty cringe.

I wish they had given more details, particularly on addressing their admitted mistakes, but despite all the negs (and eggs) about to come my way, I'm overall encouraged by the investment and signings in recent windows. If we can do similar for a couple windows more I think we'll have a bloody good squad with a good mix of experience and youth.

Okay, fire away, gents!

Be interesting to know what percentage of fans still support Levy & ENIC after that statement.

Why does it matter? im focussed on whats happening on the pitch and for us to finish this season as strongly as we can which can determine our immediate future.

What did people want and expect though from this little exercise? Did people want the club to come out and say 'yep we will spend £200m this summer and on centre backs' - not gonna happen. The questions werent exactly great to begin with so im unsure what was expected in terms of answers. They were factual answers and the Club was not going to sway into the territory that you or any of us wanted.

All owners are business people and in football - FSG, Glazers etc etc etc - Levy isnt any different. There is always going to be this battle between emotion i.e. us fans and logic i.e. Football owners. Im not outspoken in terms of Levy and Enic and whether theyre in or out, the fact is, no matter who we bring in - they will not do what you or I want. Unless - we get in QSI which is ironic given the shit that the oil clubs have had and littred throughout this message board.

You can’t have it all ways toxic atmosphere robs off on players and will play into city hands, when are some fans will learn that toxicity is effecting players. You only speak for yourself there no such thing we because there many fans who disagree with you.

Think it might be even more toxic at the City game.
Wonder if the ban banners again?
Hope the atmosphere doesn't affect the players but I feel it will.
Really fear for this game.
Someone elsewhere suggested following what Frankfurt supporters did by throwing tennis balls onto the pitch just before kick off on televised games. It will take ages to remove them and the television company will need to address the protest of Levy out. It would make the news too.

Simple thing for me is that in the summer, we NEED a GK, 2 CB's and an attacking option at least.
To get decent quality in those positions is going to cost at least 200m.
Not necessarily, there are some very good options that we could get a deal for.

GK:
Raya - Last year of contract.
Pickford - Last year of contract & team might have been relegated.

LCB:
Bastoni - Last year of contract and Inter are already losing 2 CBs on frees this season.
Ndicka - On a free.

CCB (struggling to think of good options off the top of my head):
Pau Torres - Last year of contract.

Forward:
Zaniolo - Last year of contract and has fallen out with the club (to put it mildly).
Maddison (personally don't think he is the right fit for Conte) - Last year of contract.

Nobody is asking for corporates to speak to us like cringey supporters, just a more human touch and a more passionate ambitious pledge to try and win something, with a team we can be proud of playing some dynamic, interesting, well coached football, we won't tolerate passengers, we want to deliver for the fans, not corporate defensive bullshit.

It's difficult. We want to make the board aware in no uncertain terms that we want change, but only have one main outlet each week to do that. Sadly that outlet is the same one where we also want to have a great atmosphere and get behind the players and manager. Off the back of a couple of half-decent results, Kane about to break our goalscoring record, Son maybe coming into a modicum of form and our new players hopefully making their home debuts it's really difficult to get the balance right.

I'm not a regular match-goer but I am a long term member. Others spend far, far more money on the club than I, so I can't preach to them about how they want to vent. Just don't want the atmosphere to negatively affect the players.

Good that they actually responded for once and in reasonable detail.

Its a bit corporate bsy as expected but credit where it is due they've actually responded to it but they will never change their ways so to me its a bit lip service waste of time tbh and I'd still much rather a change at board level took place.

I'm starting to really think that a lot of this toxicity and negativity would go away if we parted ways with Conte this summer and hired a manager who plays a much more easy on the eye style of football. I know that some will shout back that "oh yea but then if we don't win fans will complain that we play nice football but it isn't effective enough to win and we need to hire a 'winner'" well sure some fans will say that but quite simply the overall feel of the club will be much more positive if we play better football and have a project to get behind because its simply more enjoyable.

I want us to win something for sure but it is no coincidence that ever since Poch left the negativity and toxicity amongst our fans is off the scale. And again I know some people will say "oh but the last 9 months of Poch football wasn't great" and sure it wasn't, but it was no where near as dull and anti-possession as it has been under the 3 managers that followed and because the team and manager were burnout after 5 years of intense effort and a squad that wasn't refreshed but the stadium was certainly no where near even close on the scale of negativity and toxicity as it has been during the Jose->Nuno->Conte era.

Every fan will have a slightly different perspective and expectation of the style of play in relation to performance and likelihood of winning but for me it has been a huge huge reason for the increase in negativity and toxicity with our fans ever since Poch was sacked.

So what about the fans who do agree and my we for the thousands of fans home and away who have been voicing their displeasure at the way the football side of the club is being run.
As fans we need to remember that's it's Tottenham Hotspur Football club we support not what Enic are trying to turn us into.

problem is mate, that coach wont get us up and at it from the off, it was bad under Poch before it got great.

So there wont be a flick of the switch.

That's a decent reasonable counter point mate, good post.
