Lol any manager in the world would have subbed in a cb in those circumstances. Hardly the stick to beat Conte with.

The real issue with Conte is that with 200 million over 3 windows and a full preseason the only players to have improved this season are Bentancur and Royal (and Royal had to do that all on his own).

Son, Kulu, Sess, Davies, Dier, Kane in many ways - all have regressed. Rather than us mastering his system the opposite has occured.lp

And not one of his summer signings have had any impact whatsoever.

That's the real worry.
Not sure any manager would have, we still had two CB's and it shouldn't have been beyond a manager to adapt to that and maintain a forward approach. Perhaps he thought by keeping the three he could really push his wingbacks into the attack but that's not a given and certainly not an option any other manager would definitely take.

Whaaatttt? There was 8mins left and we had to score to force ET, we weren't playing for a draw.

Taking off your main creative player for a shit CB was not necessary, we literally had nothing to lose.

This is miserable. Conte clearly knows the level levy is aiming for and can't be fucked any more.

We'll sack him and on current form it's hard to disagree and we'll be right back here again in 16 months, 12 months or 18 months.

Get Enic out. They don't want to win and that ethos is engrained in the club. Change the owners and change that ethos.

I agree with Darwin and I got flack in the match thread because of it.

Their last counter when Origi hit the post we had 2 defenders covering their counter attack which had 5 players in it. That’s WITH Sanchez as part of the 2. You simply can’t throw everything into attack and risk a simple counter ending your game anyway. If he had brought on Danjuma instead, and Milan scored shortly after Conte would’ve been burnt at the stake. Tactically speaking, it would’ve been a daft choice.

Conte fucked the entire game up last night but that substitution was necessary and if anything we should all be pissed off with Romero for being an idiot.

Woke up this morning and I genuinely can't believe that we played that badly and negatively. Kanes header in injury time at end of game was our only chance over 2 legs against an average Milan team.
It's incredible it really is. I'm actually torn for rest of season, I genuinely have no desire to watch us again while he's in charge as I get too annoyed and it's not actually healthy but I don't want that game to be the last game I see Kane in a spurs shirt.

Thanks Conte and Levy, the fucking dream team

So he's still talking about us not being ready for winning cups... ?? ... if that's the case... he needs to go now and not wait until the end of the season... even if I do agree that our team needs more quality investment. We've reached a point where Conte can't use these attacks on the club.

Apparently he doesn't get that we are sick and tired of our timid showings. The lack of passion, creativity and will to be brave... To Dare Is To Do, right ??!!

It's not just about tactics and formations anymore. Conte can't hide behind the comments he has used for so long now to pressure Levy... that's a bit sad... because now Levy wins again.

But we can't continue this mess... I just want some life back into the team and the club...

But Fulham, Brighton, Burnley, Sheffield Utd, Blackburn and Grimsby are giving it a better go than we are. That's the level he's got us to.

Exactly.... how can he keep saying we are not ready... ?? ... I know he wants bigger cups, but that's the whole problem for me... Tottenham have not won a cup in ages... we need that feeling back before we can dream of the biggest prizes... (apart from the club acting like a big club)

It's embarrasing that we don't take the domestic cups more seriously. That we can't put in some top performances against lower teams.... top 4 and CL can f*** off at the moment.

We need to get off that high horse and find our true DNA again... winners DNA ??? ... Does a winning manager talk like that ?? ... not in my book.

I can't help wonder how he knows we're not ready to win cups when he didn't even try to win one, he sacked off the FA cup last week with his team selection.

Still trying to make sense of bringing on a defender for an attacker when your chasing a massive game in its dying embers.
We had played 180 minutes playing three cbs marking the lightening quick Giroud, I think the two CBS left on the pitch would have coped with him for ten remaining minutes.

So many tactical errors,so many baffling decisions.

Another season wasted, unless you love go karting.

Calm down everyone. Give Conte time until summer - he deserves to be backed if we manage to get a top 4 finish! At least we can now fully focus on the league

Think I’m going to get slaughtered here.

I felt like one of the last men standing with Poch. I do so again with Conte. Is the football awful … yes. But I still recall the football in the last third of last season. It was great. That’s more Conte football. He will have a winning vision but needs players that can operate within it.

It’s not like Levy hasn’t thrown previous managers under the bus and somehow turned fans on the manager screaming he has to go. Just look back. If you appoint Conte you have to back his vision. He is a winner as a player and coach. We will see that proved again in his next venture. Instead we will be left with a core of players that failed our previous coaches including Poch.

I love Poch, but within 2 years under Levy we’ll have the same chat except I don’t want to see Poch’s legacy ruined forever because Levy has his own “non football” vision.

Be nice lads. Just because I like to try and stick by “most” coaches we appoint. Even more so with Conte

Shaking with rage that Levy made him bring Sanchez on for Kulusevski when we were chasing a goal. Nothing will change until the Chairman changes.

In all seriousness, do people see it now? The club is run imperfectly, but this manager has made bad decisions all season and pinned the blame on anyone but himself.

I'm sorry, have you fucking watched us this season?

At this point I'd rather us finish 5th and he leaves than finish 4th and he stays.

What’s crazy is that we have 13 games left this season yet if feels like the season is over. I don’t particularly want Conte to stay but I don‘t particularly want Mason to take charge ether. I really don’t know what happens know and the worst of it, despite knowing Conte would likely be off in the summer, the board probably don’t know what to do now.
